Fallout 76’s new Fallout Worlds update is now available in the post-apocalyptic adventure, Bethesda Game Studios has announced. The update allows players to set up their own custom versions of Appalachia by tweaking a range of settings to how they see fit. All players can join in Public Worlds, which offer specially tweaked versions of the game curated by Bethesda. Meanwhile, those with a Fallout 1st membership can create and host their own custom worlds and invite others to play....
UPDATE: It has been brought to Game Rant’s attention that only a subset of 35 of the sold helmets are under recall. The recall only includes the Fallout 1:1 Power Armor Nuka Cola Helmets with a red painted finish and white exterior tubing. Other versions of the helmet sold as part of a bundle or separately are not affected, and customers who purchased the affected helmets have been contacted directly regarding the recall....

Here’s an odd crossover: FIFA and Marvel. EA has announced a collaboration with Marvel that reimagines some of the most famous footballers of yesteryear as superheroes. Ex-footballers such as USA stalwart Landon Donovan, legendary Chelsea defender Ricardo Carvalho and all-conquering Man City midfielder Yaya Touré have unique illustrated designs that replace real-world player photos in FIFA 23’s Ultimate Team mode. EA has confirmed five players as superheroes so far. Donovan is The Brave - a clear nod to Captain America....
Square Enix published new screenshots of Final Fantasy VII Remake, showing Cloud, Tifa, Aerith, and a couple of new characters to Wall Market (via Push Square). Cloud is here in his disguise, and Tifa and Aerith are looking elegant in their formal dresses. We also see Don Corneo, leaning all the way from his seat and leering at someone, I imagine. Former Vampire: The Masquerade — Bloodlines 2 developer Hardsuit Labs is getting hit with layoffs this week. Some of the studio’s employees took to Twitter to reveal the news just one week following Hardsuit’s removal from Bloodlines 2. There is still no word on who will take over the game’s development. Hardsuit has laid off the four-person narrative team, as well as employees in departments across the company. “HSL has made the decision to do layoffs today, and all of us on the narrative team were affected,” former Narrative Lead Samantha Wallschlaeger wrote on Twitter....
Disney & Marvel have announced that they’re to hold a joint games showcase on September 9. The broadcast will emanate from the D23 Expo 2022 at around 9pm UK time, and feature “new content” from games from Marvel, Disney & Pixar, Lucasfilm Games and 20th Century Games. We’ve already been given an idea of some of the games that’ll be at the event. These include the recently-delayed Marvel’s Midnight Suns, Disney Dreamlight Valley and Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga....
Developer Gameloft Montreal has announced Disney Dreamlight Valley. The new Disney and Pixar game is a life-sim adventure that enters Early Access this summer. It’ll then launch as a free-to-play game in 2023. Disney Dreamlight Valley will be available through PC Game Pass or by buying the Founders Pack on the Xbox Store. Developer Techland has announced another delay for Bloody Ties, Dying Light 2’s long-awaited first chunk of story DLC, which is now expected to arrive on 10th November.
