The Stranger Things DLC for Far Cry 6 launches tomorrow and will take players into a twisted version of Yara as they seek to save their beloved pup Chorizo from the forces of evil. Known as The Vanishing, players will have to work out just what on earth is going on in Yara, as an unknown force has been abducting the island’s residents, and “no one is safe”. Ubisoft has promised this DLC will introduce a new element of survival-horror into Far Cry 6’s gameplay, with locations inspired by Netflix’s Stranger Things able to be explored....
Vostok Games, which includes former S.T.A.L.K.E.R. devs, have announced a new battle royale game called Fear the Wolves. Their take on the currently popular battle royale genre will be in first-person and promises a “new and original take” on battle royale. Players are dropped into a radiation-filled Chernobyl as a lone soldier or as a squad with 100 players aiming to become the last man standing. The twist in this game is that players will have to battle deadly anomalies and dynamically changing weather....

Square Enix has confirmed that Dissidia Final Fantasy NT is getting a free-to-play release next week (via Gematsu). The obviously-titled Dissidia Final Fantasy NT Free Edition will be available on PC and PlayStation 4 on March 12, and lets players go hands-on with a limited selection of characters every week. However, the Free Edition gives you the chance of purchasing various characters and weapons if you fancy it. Nintendo has quietly announced that Mario will be strapping on his white coat and stethoscope again with Dr. Mario World. The new game will be released for mobile platforms this summer, and comes on the back of news that Mario Kart Tour has been delayed by a few months.
