Nintendo has announced the next set of NES games coming as part of the Nintendo Switch Online service, available to all subscribers for June. First up is classic beat-em-up Double Dragon II: The Revenge from 1990, where Billy and Jimmy must avenge the death of Marion by defeating the evil Shadow Warriors. Joining that game will be City Connection, an unlikely car-based platform game from 1988 where you must avoid cops while trailing paint behind you....

Publisher Bandai Namco has unveiled asymmetrical online game Dragon Ball: The Breakers coming to consoles and PC in 2022. This latest title is set in the Dragon Ball Xenoverse universe, last seen in beat-em-up Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2. It’ll see one player take on the form of the Raider with their own super powers. They’ll go up against seven ‘Survivors’ who are other characters from the series who don’t have any powers....

So far, developer T19 Games’ red-tinted first-person shooter Dread Templar has remained in Early Access for over a year. Inspired by old-school ’90s shooters such as Quake, Dread Templar managed to achieve a “very positive” rating on Steam out of nearly 400 user reviews. Clearly the game does more than simply remind you of the good old days. Fans of Dread Templar will soon have the opportunity to try out the full release later this year, but in the meantime, you can check out the final Early Access content update that T19 Games just dropped....

Battlefield: Bad Company 2 is releasing some exciting DLC today. The Kit Upgrade DLC features four separate kits, one for each class, which include unique skins for your uniforms and weapons. The DLC also includes twelve new awards and four new achievements for players to work towards. Here’s a quote from Battlefield’s blog about the specific items you can purchase: If you’re in Europe you can purchase the Kit Upgrade DLC right now on Xbox Live Marketplace for 160 MS points per kit, or 440 MS points for all four kits....

Ever since Dune was released in theaters and on HBO Max last October, fans have been dying to get more of Denis Villeneuve’s take on this epic franchise. Thankfully, it didn’t take long for them to announce Dune: Part Two was already a thing, as they announced it merely a week after the film’s North American debut. Unfortunately, fans will have to wait until the end of 2023 for the next installment in the series....

For those keen to get onto Arrakis and prove your worth, you won’t have much longer to wait. Developers Shiro Games and publisher Funcom have revealed that Dune: Spice Wars will enter Steam Early Access this coming April 26 on PC. Based on Frank Herbert’s sci-fi novels and universe, the 4X and real-time strategy hybrid will pit the four different factions of House Atreides, House Harkonnen, the Smugglers, and the newly revealed Fremen against each other in a bid to control spice, the most valuable resource out there....

Apparently, Dying Light 2 is also getting a Collector’s Edition. A dealer has leaked what all content will be offered in detail with the same edition. A few days ago, those responsible at Techland pointed out that in a few days the players can look forward to “exciting news” about Dying Light 2. It looks like we are dealing with a Collector’s Edition of the zombie spectacle Dying Light 2. At least this was suggested in an entry from a dealer that has since been removed and of course did not go unnoticed by the players....

As Hollywood seems to be slowly waking back to life this summer while the coronavirus pandemic rages on, new projects are being lined up even as finished ones continue to be delayed. Look no further than Edgar Wright, whose next movie, the cryptic time travel chiller, Last Night in Soho, has been pushed from September to April 2021. Even so, he’s worked out with Universal Pictures a new project that sounds incredibly intriguing: he’s adapting Adrian McKinty’s The Chain....

With the Wastelanders update underway for Fallout 76, Bethesda decided to share some new screenshots (and accompanying information) for fans to enjoy over the Thanksgiving holiday.
