Elden Ring is playabale on the Steam Deck. It’s fitting, considering both the game and Valve’s handheld are released today. Valve is rating games for the Steam Deck based on compatibility and Elden Ring has received verified status. It’s surprising though considering PC performance of Elden Ring has been heavily criticised. Prior to launch, many were surprised by the high minimum specs required. Digital Foundry has since reviewed performance of the game, noting frame rate issues with the PC version....

This is your public service announcement: new, unauthorised, Elden Ring footage and various screenshots have made their way out into the wild, and as such there are spoilers out there. Several of these screenshots have been uploaded to reddit (don’t worry, we won’t be sharing any in the text of this story), and they show off a new area not seen before. Additionally, by simply typing in ‘Elden Ring’ into YouTube’s search bar, one of the first videos that comes up is that of the opening cinematic....

Gamers Got Talent is a content series, allowing millions of video game fans a chance at earning $25,000 USD and e.l.f. beauty products. Moving from creating visual novels to making action RPGs is a fairly giant leap. Visualnoveler, the aptly-named visual novel developer, is attempting just that with Eternal Radiance, which launches into Early Access this week. Only time will tell how it shapes up, but, at the very least, the game seems to already have a base from which to grow. What are ya buyin? As Eternal Radiance is just now entering EA, it’s normal to not expect much meat....

Fallout 4 only recently turned seven years old, but that doesn’t mean players have seen everything. Due to how extraordinarily massive the world is, not everyone explores it in the same way. This leaves plenty of opportunity for hidden areas or small secrets to be easily overlooked. Though, sometimes it’s just a matter of the developer hiding something deliberately that players might discover by accident. Case in point: Reddit user sejgalloway has shared that Oberland Station has a hidden room....

Ubisoft has unveiled Lost Between Worlds, a new expansion for Far Cry 6 that’ll whisk players away to a fractured alien version of Yara when it launches on 6th December. Lost Between Worlds’ surreal extraterrestrial action begins when Far Cry 6 protagonist Dani Rojas inadvertently stumbles across a crashed alien ship inhabited by an alien AI known as FAI. Unfortunately for Dani, FAI immediately seals the surrounding area and demands they embark on a quest to retrieve five crystals needed to repair their ship - each one hidden away in a mysterious rift containing a fractured simulation of Yara....

Sony’s polished off a list of top 10 best-selling PSN games for the past year, and it’s absolutely no surprise to learn that FIFA 18 scooped the top spot in Europe, while the latest Call of Duty game is sitting smugly at the top for the US. FIFA 2018 isn’t the only FIFA in the mix for the European top 10, with FIFA 2017 sneaking in at eighth place. Rockstar’s GTA V is in at number four, where it’s been for basically the entirety of last year anyway, and the US number one Call of Duty WWII is in at second place....

The FIFA 23 Ladies ratings are here, and as anticipated there’s some great player ratings on show. We’ve already seen the Men’s Top 25, and from the top leagues too, now it’s time the best of the Ladies. The world’s best have had their real life performances translated into the game, and after the Ladies England recent World Cup victory there’s some strong players available including Lauren Hemp, Millie Bright, Beth Mead, and Lucy Bronze....

As part of Tokyo Game Show, Square Enix has released a brand new trailer for the upcoming Final Fantasy 7 Remake, and it’s one of the most densely-packed trailers the game has seen so far. It shows off a number of different story beats and gameplay elements that will be featured in Final Fantasy 7 Remake, including some sections of the game that have never been seen before today’s trailer....

The second new job for Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker has been announced as the Reaper. Hinted at in the trailer, hinted at further by Naoki Yoshida walking onto the stage in full costume and carrying a scythe, and then announced in quick succession. Not a necromancer, then, but this two-handed scythe-wielder will still be using dark powers to take on foes. Endwalker‘s Reaper To balance out the other new job (the healing Sage), the Reaper is a melee DPS class that will use the same armor types as the Dragoon....

Final Fantasy XV director Hajime Tabata has stated he would like to see the game launch around the same time worldwide. In an interview with Mexican website LevelUp (via Gematsu) Tabata stated his preference for the West to suffer little delay in getting their hands on the game. “I’d like to be able to do a worldwide release,” he said, “We don’t want to impose any big delays to players from around the world, so I’m hoping that everyone will be able to play the same Final Fantasy XV together within as close of a time frame as possible....

The dev teams from Final Fantasy XV and Assassin’s Creed Origins have unveiled a collaboration whereby the two games ‘pay homage to each other’s gaming universes’. This has apparently been brewing for almost three years ago. The whole thing kicks off on August 30, as Final Fantasy XV players who managed to pick up the Dream Egg at the Moogle Chocobo Carnival will receive an Assassin’s Creed outfit for Noctis. The next day, August 31, sees the start of the Assassin’s Festival, a free DLC for FFXV that will ‘transform’ Lestallum, and add new activities, themed items and features (including another AC outfit)....

New footage showing off a white version of the Xbox Elite Series 2 controller has made its way online. This footage shared by YouTuber Nicholas Lugo and spotted by Twitter user Rebs Gaming (via VGC), shows Lugo unboxing what they claim to be the “only white Xbox Elite in the United States”. While the video doesn’t go into any more details, such as how Lugo happens to have this mythical controller in their possession, it does all seem to be genuine....

People have been trying to remake P.T. for a while now, some more successful than others. However, one player has taken things to the next step by cobbling together a pretty faithful version of the Silent Hills teaser in the Dreams beta. Twitter user Sergeant Bike (via PST) shared a 30-second clip of his P.T. ‘remake’ in Media Molecule’s do-it-yourself-’em-up, and the results are quite impressive. Top laner Lee “Duke” Ho-seong has left Invictus Gaming’s League of Legends roster, he announced today in a Weibo post. This development comes just a few days after Invictus were eliminated from the 2019 League of Legends World Championship. The team made it to the semi-finals, losing to FunPlus Phoenix last Saturday. Lee “Duke” Ho-seong joined Invictus Gaming in 2016 after leaving SK Telecom T1 the month prior. He spent a year with SK Telecom T1, playing the top lane role during their 2016 World Championship victory....

Techland has announced that actress Rosario Dawson will play the major role of Lawan in upcoming zombie game Dying Light 2: Stay Human. The news came at the end of the latest Dying 2 Know broadcast last night. The Daredevil and The Mandalorian actor will be a major player in your journey through Villedor. Her character is described as “complex, stubborn and unforgiving” and can be both your friend or your enemy....
