It’s bad news for fans hoping to see Dragon Age 4 this year, as industry rumours imply the upcoming RPG won’t see the light of day before 2023. Industry insider Tom Henderson cites “a source with knowledge of EA’s plans” as saying that there’s “no chance” Dragon Age 4 will arrive in 2022 on his Twitter account last night. Henderson has been fairly on the money with rumours over the past few months, with accurate reports on Battlefield 2042 details and Quantic Dream’s Star Wars Eclipse before their official announcements....

Turn-based skirmisher Dreadlands has been in development for three years. During this time, thousands of players have taken part in numerous beta tests. Now, independent publisher Fatshark and developer Blackfox Studios have revealed that Dreadlands is on its way to Steam Early Access on March 10. Dreadlands is set in a living post-apocalyptic shared world. As you explore the many regions with your misfit gang of miscreants and mercenaries, you’ll constantly be encountering other players....

EA has announced it will be stopping all sales of its games and content, including virtual currency bundles, in Russia and its ally Belarus while Russia’s invasion of the Ukraine continues. “We continue to be shocked at the conflict that is unfolding in Ukraine,” the publisher wrote in a statement on EA’s website, “and join so many voices around the world in calling for peace and an end to the invasion....

Earthfall: Alien Horde has got a new trailer to celebrate that pre-orders are now live on the Nintendo eShop, as announced by developer Nimble. Boasting all of the content updates for Earthfall, Earthfall: Alien Horde brings the lethality to a new console and includes local co-op as well as online play. Moreover, the game will have 15 unique areas with 11 campaign story chapter and five invasion maps. Each of the four characters will engage the procedurally generated alien infestation in close combat, or they could deploy strategic operations like electrified traps or robotic soldiers....

Far Cry 5 can be played in two-player co-op, and will see the return of the map editor for players to make their own playgrounds to explode things in. According to Ubisoft, ‘Players will have total freedom to navigate this serene-looking yet deeply twisted world solo or entirely in two-player co-op as they fight for survival and freedom.’ Far Cry 5 is the first game in the Far Cry series to be set in America....

Ubisoft (or specifically, through actor Michael Mando) has announced that it’ll be releasing Vaas: Insanity, the first of its series throwback-themed DLCs for Far Cry 6 next week. Actor Michael Mundo—these days also known for roles like in Better Call Saul—will be reprising his role as Far Cry 3‘s infamous villain. Rather than forming part of the main game, the DLC will be an all new standalone mode. You’ll start with a pistol, and have to defend yourself against waves of enemies....

I must admit, when I usually think esports, Farming Simulator is not exactly the first game I have pop in mind. However, starting in late July, FarmCon will host the first inaugural Farming Simulator League. The convention, being held in Harsewinkel, Germany at the CLAAS Technoparc, runs July 27 – 28. This won’t be a low-key affair, either. Competitors will face off in teams, revving their tractors for their share of a €100,000 prize pool....

The drama concerning FaZe Clan never seems to end, as the esports gaming team has moved forward in their efforts to sue their most famous member, Turner “Tfue” Tenney, a popular and skilled Fortnite player. The group claims that the team was damaged by Tfue through an effort to avoid his contractual obligations.
