A new Enhanced Edition of Raji: An Ancient Epic is out now on PC, with ray-tracing and multiple improvements. Released back in 2020, the action adventure game is set in ancient India and is inspired by Hindu deities, folklore and the medieval architecture of Rajasthan. The Enhanced Edition notably adds ray-tracing to update the stunning visuals, as well as full Hindi voiceover for a more authentic experience. Battlestate Games’ hardcore online shooter Escape From Tarkov hasn’t reached its full PC release date yet, but the developer has already announced that it doesn’t plan to include any sort of female playable characters into the game. Battlestate has stated two reasons for this decision, including the claim that it would be too much work to create female PCs, though neither of its excuses has gone over well with players who had requested this feature....

Tempo Storm, which is known for having esports teams competing in games like Rainbow Six Siege, PUBG Mobile, and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, recently raised $3.3 million to produce more content and expanding its horizons. Its latest funding round was lead by Galaxy Interactive, a interactive content and technology investor, which suggests that Tempo Storm is looking at exploring the world of video games beyond traditional esports. “While Tempo is well-known in the competitive gaming world, we’ve always operated more as a media company than a sports team,” CEO Andrey “reynad” Yanyuk said on Tempo Storm’s website....

PAX West proved to be a leaky ship for Destiny 2, as a number of weapons and armor leaked. This includes everything from an exotic rocket launcher and a hand cannon to the controversial Garden of Salvation raid armor. In light of everything and the forthcoming launch of Shadowkeep, it seems Bungie simply decided to go ahead and showcase all of the armor for the fall season. The Fairy Tail anime series, a show about a fantasy guild and their many adventures, is set to end very soon, but fans can rest easy knowing that this doesn’t mark the end for the franchise as a whole. After all, it was revealed earlier this month that it will be getting its own RPG next year. Developed by Gust Studios and published by Koei Tecmo, this will be the first Fairy Tale game to release outside of Japan....

It’s been a while since I dived into Fallout 76, it became a little samey rather quickly, but Bethesda continues to iterate and add to the open world with the latest 8.5 patch. This update focuses on two additions to Fallout 76, a Prosnap Deluxe Camera which allows players to snap pics easier than before. This camera can be found via the “Bucket List” quest and completing camera challenges. The other notable changes are repair kits with the addition of the Basic repair Kits which are new single consumables without the need for crafting materials....

Far Cry Primal will release on PC on March 1, 2016, one week after the game’s debut on PS4 and Xbox One. The date was confirmed in a new gameplay trailer released last night, alongside the first details on the game’s Deluxe and Collector’s Editions. Ubisoft has yet to detail any PC-specific features for the game. EA Sports has announced that the upcoming FIFA 21 won’t be getting the traditional demo this year. Revealing the news via the game’s official Twitter account, the company said “Instead we’ve made the decision to focus our development team’s time on delivering the best full game experience for current & next-gen consoles.” It marks the first time in a very long time an entry in the series hasn’t had a demo before release, although members of EA Play will still be able to get their traditional 10 hour trial of the entire full game nine days earlier from October 1, with progress carrying over upon release....

Square Enix has announced that it’ll release the Final Fantasy XV multiplayer expansion, Comrades, for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on October 31. In this new mode, players can create their own avatar and join up with three other buddies to take on quests and battles in Final Fantasy XV’s first (and only) online multiplayer expansion. So there’s something actually ‘final’ about the game, for once. Players will set out as a surviving member of the Kingsglaive, and they’ve been tasked with finding the main game’s protagonist following the disappearance of Noctis after the events in Chapter 13 in Final Fantasy XV....

Even before The Game Awards technically started, there were plenty in the way of announcements. During the pre-show, Square Enix unveiled a new trailer for Final Fantasy 7 Remake, offering a fresh look at how the highly-anticipated game will reimagine the beloved classic. This announcement didn’t come out of nowhere. Earlier, today, Square Enix teased that Final Fantasy 7 Remake would get a new trailer at The Game Awards, leaving fans to wonder all day what the new look at the game would reveal and whether it would reveal more about the game would build on the 1997 original....

Back in 2020, Jeff Ross, director of the middlingly-received open-world zombie shooter Days Gone, left Bend Studio, the development team behind the game. He did so after Sony refrained from greenlighting a Days Gone sequel, a decision that the company seemed to have made partially due to the game’s underwhelming critical performance. The game still sold well, according to Ross, selling more than 8 million units. Although Ross may have been disappointed by the decision at the time, he said in a recent discussion with the former God of War designer, David Jaffe, that he has “moved on” from it....
