Hamster has confirmed (via Nintendo Everything) that Arcade Achieves Double Dragon, a port of the classic retro beat-’em-up, will be hitting the Switch tomorrow after previously being delayed from its original late 2017 window. Double Dragon will be up for grabs on the Nintendo eShop, where it’ll retail for £6.29/$7.99. The Switch version will include two-player co-op (it’d be a crime if it didn’t) using split Joy-Con functionality. If you’re too young to remember the late 80s gaming scene (psst, it was great), then you should probably know that Double Dragon is a stone cold classic....

EA, Gearbox, and Microsoft have added their voices to a letter asking governor Greg Abbott to “abandon efforts” to vilify parents helping their transgender child access “medically necessary, age-appropriate healthcare in the state of Texas”. 65 companies have signed the letter organised by Human Rights Campaign, which ran in the Dallas Morning News yesterday. “More than 60 major companies are calling on officials in Texas - and across the country - to abandon discriminatory efforts against trans youth and all LGBTQ+ people,” the organisation tweeted....

Fallout fans may still have divided opinions about the state of Fallout 76, but it certainly is respectable to see Bethesda continue to support the game well into 2021.
