Just in time for the Far Cry 5 launch, AMD has kicked out a new set of drivers, the AMD Radeon Adrenalin Edition 18.3.4 Driver. The main point in the patch notes is the Far Cry 5 support and there is also a fix for bright lighting effect on trees in Final Fantasy XV. There are known issues to be aware of with these drivers including flickering when switching tasks if there’s a multi GPU system config in play....

FIFA 17 will release on September 29 for PS4, Xbox One and PC, developed using EA’s Frostbite engine. Versions for PS3 and Xbox 360 will also be available, though will not make use of Frostbite, EA has said. Popular horror game franchise Five Nights at Freddy’s has been picked up by Warner Bros. with the intention to create a movie, states the Hollywood Reporter. The game series is set within family food restaurant Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza and sees the loveable animatronic attractions coming to life after hours. Players must survive their attacks by monitoring security cameras. The movie will be produced by Roy Lee of Vertigo Entertainment as well as Seth Grahame-Smith and David Katzenberg of KatzSmith Productions....

A couple of days ago, Bandai Namco finally revealed the release date of Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot, which is set to launch on January 17, 2020. A listing for Dragon Quest Heroes 1 and 2 on the Nintendo Switch has popped up on a Western retail site, seemingly suggesting that the games will be released for Western territories on that platform (via My Nintendo News).
