Saber Interactive has shown off new gameplay of Evil Dead: The Game hosted by none other than Bruce Campbell himself. Bruce actually hands gameplay duties over to his son Andy for this just under-eleven minute slice of multiplayer action. They’re controlling the Kandarian Demon, with Campbell Jr opting to play as its Henrietta form from the second movie. Together, they go up against four content creators as Evil Dead 2 Ash, Henry the Red, Amanda Fisher and Cheryl Williams....

Summer is officially over. I know, I know, you might still have some grilling to do, or the kids haven’t yet gone back to school; even scientists will tell you, technically, autumn doesn’t begin for a few more weeks. But the days are already getting shorter, the weather is beginning to cool, and movies are in transition from blockbuster season to a seemingly endless awards one. But that last bit should be happy tidings for moviegoers....

Earlier this week, Nvidia announced its next series of GeForce RTX cards - and raised eyebrows at how much some of them will cost. At the top end, the RTX 4090 will cost an eye-watering $1599. The RTX 4080 16GB will cost $1199, while the RTX 4080 12GB will cost $899. Many had hoped for lower prices - but, according to Nvidia boss Jensen Huang, these costs reflect a world where Moore’s law - where performance is doubled for half the price every two years - is now “dead”....

From a game mechanics perspective, racing titles are just about the simplest in terms of their design. A playable demo of Final Fantasy XV may be coming to PS4 and Xbox One tomorrow, following tonight’s Uncovered: Final Fantasy XV event. As spotted by Gematsu, a Chinese trailer (above) leaked ahead of today’s event appears to suggest that the demo will act as a spin-off to the main game, following lead character Noctis through a dream sequence as a child. The trailer describes the demo as a “fun and free Final Fantasy XV for fans and first-timers alike”, and reveals that players will be able to “enter the dream of young Noctis” to “uncover a tale untold in-game”....

The early access for MW 2 has already started and so far everything has been going smoothly. But recently, several players in the community have been getting a strange error while playing the COD Modern Warfare 2. This error states that “your game data is corrupt. You must reset your ranks and unlocks to continue“. While PC players are mostly facing Dev Error 6036, PS5 players have been encountering the Niamey Lee error....

This is a rather surprising development in the world of flight simulation. Just recently, Dovetail Games has announced via an official forum post that its fledgling simulator Flight Sim World will be permanently grounded on May 24th, 2018. That is to say, it will no longer be offered for sale after that date. So, anyone who still wants to play it has a month to obtain a copy. If you already have a copy, then you’ll be able to keep it even after May 24....

Popular battle royale title PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds has been banned in Nepal because its violent gameplay is having a negative impact on the country’s children, per a report from Reuters. The Himalayan nation’s federal investigation authority has decreed that all internet service providers, mobile operators, and network service providers should block streaming of the game, which has been the case as of this Thursday. “We have ordered the ban on PUBG because it is addictive to children and teenagers,” deputy director at the country’s telecoms regulator Nepal Telecommunications Authority Sandip Adhikari told the aforementioned source....
