Final Fantasy VII Remake producer Yoshinori Kitase revealed the reason why antagonist Sephiroth pops up earlier in the new game than the original game, and drew a comparison between the angel and the shark from Jaws (via Siliconera). Yep. The tidbit comes from an interview published by Square Enix, with Remake’s co-director Naoki Hamaguchi and producer Yoshinori Kitase. Kitase worked on the original Final Fantasy VII, and although it is a remake, not everything is identical to the 1997 game....
The final trailer for Red Dead Redemption’s newest mission pack, ‘Undead Nightmare’, has arrived – and just in time for its October 26th release. By now I’m sure most of you have seen the previous trailers released by Rockstar Games, which teased the pack, the story, the guns, and then the Undead Overrun mode. Ubisoft’s hack-’em-up For Honor has surpassed 15 million players worldwide since its launch in February 2017. The announcement comes just ahead of the release of For Honor’s next major update, Marching Fire, which arrives on October 16. Some of the main highlights of Marching Fire is the addition of the new Wu Lin faction, plus of course the 4v4 breach mode. For Honor is available on PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One....
Ubisoft has announced that For Honor Season 6, known as Hero’s March, is now live for PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One. Former Castlevania producer Dave Cox has joined digital production company Fish in a Bottle to help create companion apps for core AAA titles. Cox worked at Konami for over 17 years, most recently overseeing the development of Castlevania reboot Castlevania: Lords of Shadow and Lords of Shadow 2, before departing the company in August 2014. His work at Fish in a Bottle, however, will be geared around “adding value to existing AAA properties by extending them into new areas, such as companion apps – basically helping publishers and developers maximise the spread of their brands....
