Disney Dreamlight Valley has revealed an all-new Toy Story realm. Showcased at the recent Disney & Marvel Games Showcase, the realm looks exactly as you just may expect, including a recreation of Andy’s bedroom where you’ll get to hang out with your favourite Toy Story characters. Admittedly, we didn’t learn much else - the trailer doesn’t even last two minutes and the description simply says “discover the brand-new Toy Story adventure coming this fall in Dreamlight Valley” – but we did learned that you’ll be able to partner up with “Woody and Buzz” for a “brand-new Toy Story adventure” where you’ll also be able to bring your friends from other Disney valleys, too....

Grand Theft Auto Online’s After Hours update is now out in the wild, and one of its real-world stars DJ Solomun has cooked up a music video shot entirely using Rockstar’s acclaimed crime caper. The video for Custom is King, which celebrates the 100th release on Solomun’s Diynamic label, charts his in-game exploits across Los Santos, where he’s tasked with delivering a bunch of packages around the sun-soaked locale. DJ Solomun is just one of many real-world music stars to appear in After Hours, among which includes Dixon and The Black Madonna....

Since its launch in 2015, Rainbow Six Siege has seen continous updates, and is well established in the vein of the trend of ‘games as a service’. But it seems just because the next consoles may be on the horizon, it’s probably best you don’t expect a full blown sequel. That’s in part due to information from an interview with the Daily Star with Rainbow Six Siege’s brand director Alexandre Remy, who has said that Ubisoft wouldn’t want to make a whole new game because ‘we don’t want to segregate our community between the different platforms....

Valve and Netflix have announced that they’re teaming up to release an anime series based on popular MOBA DOTA 2, and it’s coming as soon as next month. Entitled DOTA: Dragon’s Blood the eight episode series will tell the tale of Davion, who’s described as “A renowned Dragon Knight devoted to wiping the scourge from the face of the world.” The blurb continues: “Following encounters with a powerful, ancient eldwurm as well as the noble Princess Mirana on a secret mission of her own, Davion becomes embroiled in events much larger than he could have ever imagined....

Now that Dota: Underlords is out of early access, Valve’s Dota team has turned their eye to improving the MOBA’s competitive scene. According to the Dota 2 blog, the Dota Pro Circuit will be reorganized into regional leagues after The International 2020. The current format consists of five Major tournaments preceded by Minors, and a series of qualifying events called Open Qualifiers. The new leagues will serve the same function as the Open Qualifiers, but spread over six weeks instead of a few days....

Tress Macneille is a legend in the voice over business and you can see why they wanted her on DuckTales. Every word that comes out of Daisy’s mouth makes you love her. Macneille expertly crafts a full character (obviously aided by the work of the writers and animators) and gives her multiple layers....

Metagaming is something that can occur pretty naturally in a game of Dungeons & Dragons, sometimes without players even realizing what they’re doing at first. There’s usually at least one metagamers in the pack when it comes to RPGs, which is the term for a person who uses their own knowledge of Dungeons & Dragons’ rules to gain an advantage where they wouldn’t otherwise have one. That can apply to a ton of different in-game situations....

EA has rushed to pull pre-alpha footage of Skate 4 which was leaked online last night. The footage was uploaded on the video-hosting site Odysee before being quickly taken down a few hours later. But the clip was quickly spread online after it was tweeted by notable industry insiders, Tom Henderson and Jeff Grubb. The clip shows the early development of the game, with the player character skating down a road doing tricks and the character walking freely making jumps....

Konami has announced it’ll release the first major patch for the troubled eFootball 2022 later this month. A statement posted to Twitter reads: “We apologise for any inconveniences you may have experienced with the game. We are preparing to release version 0.9.1 of eFootball 2022 on 28th October. This will focus on fixing the issues already reported and those you continue to report. We will update you with more details as we move forwards as well as address your feedback and requests in future updates....
