Last month’s offerings from Humble Bundle were a mishmash of various titles. For the February 2021 Humble Choice, we also see a little bit of something for everyone. Endless Space 2 and Valkyria Chronicles 4 are two big games that are part of the list. We’ve also got Trine 4: The Nightmare Prince, Outward, Valfaris, and many others. Developer N-Racing has partnered with publisher Bigben Interactive to bring FIA European Truck Racing Championship to PC and other platforms on July 18. This simulator will feature some serious big rigs on the racing circuit. Fans of American Truck Simulator and European Truck Simulator may want to give this game a shot. I want to love when new firefighting games come out. It all started with Human Entertainment’s The Firemen, a top-down SNES game where you played as, you guessed it, firemen that charged into burning buildings. Not counting that game’s sequel, nothing has hit the same highs since. After taking a single look at Firegirl: Hack ‘n Splash Rescue, my hopes were, ahem, rekindled. It’s an upcoming 2.5D firefighting game where you play as a firefighter, and the demo is about to make landfall....

Capcom has released the first footage of next year’s Resident Evil Zero HD Remaster. The 90-second trailer, which you can take a look at above, includes clips of both gameplay and CGI cutscenes, giving you an idea of what improvements to expect in the upcoming re-release. Mike Laidlaw announced that he has left his position as creative director for Ubisoft Quebec (via Fextralife). Prior to working for Ubisoft, Laidlaw spent fourteen years at BioWare, and is credited on titles like Jade Empire, Mass Effect, and Sonic Chronicles: The Dark Brotherhood. He was the lead designer for Dragon Age: Origins and Dragon Age II, the director of Dragon Age: Inquisition, and the creative director of the property as a whole....

In a fascinating speech at the 2020 DICE Summit, Sean Shoptaw (senior vp games and interactive experiences at Disney) stated that Disney wants developers to explore the creative possibilities of their various franchises. “I’m here for one specific reason: to empower you to do really unique things with our [catalog],” Shoptaw says. “We want to tap into the power of creatives across the industry.” Shoptaw also referenced Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order and Insomniac Games’ Spider-Man for PS4 as two examples of studios telling new stories within Disney controlled properties and achieving critical and sales success as a result....

Today, at Netflix’s Geeked Week, it was revealed that the third season of the hit adaptation of the Valve’s beloved video game would be coming later this year. To be exact, DOTA: Dragon’s Blood Season 3 is set to arrive on the platform on Aug. 11, 2022. With the release of DBS Broly, Dragon Ball FighterZ officially finished its Season 2 run, leaving fans wondering what exactly happens next for the game. Well, a new datamine strongly suggests that Arc System Works and Bandai Namco are gearing up for the release of a Season 3. Capcom has unveiled a 10th anniversary website for Dragon’s Dogma, once more reminding fans that a sequel doesn’t exist. At least, not yet.
