EA has not yet ruled out the possibility of cross-play coming to FIFA 23, saying ‘ they want to do right by the community’. It follows fans voicing their anger over the lack of cross-play support for the upcoming FIFA 23. In a statement directed to EA, a leader in the Pro Clubs community claimed EA was ‘out of touch’ with players and didn’t ‘understand what players want’. According Delaney Leatherdale, as reported in WePC, Pro Clubs Producer at EA, the reason why there is no crossplay support for the mode in FIFA 23 is there is ‘added complexity’ due to the number of players involved....

Skill Moves in FIFA 23 add another level of control while you have possession of the ball. You can feign fake shots, perform stepovers, and do specific tricks like the Sombrero Flick with 5 Star Skill Moves. With FIFA 23 adding FUT Moments, you’ll also have to perform specific Skill Moves in order to complete challenges and earn Stars, which can then be used to purchase FUT packs, and other items....

Bad news, Eorzeans: The next major Final Fantasy XIV patch won’t be hitting anytime soon. Game producer and director Naoki Yoshida broke the news earlier today, stating that the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic has delayed patch 5.3 for at least a little longer. Final Fantasy XVI producer Naoki Yoshida has revealed that the RPG’s cutscenes will actually first be filmed with the English version as opposed to the Japanese. Speaking on the latest episode of Washagana TV (as spotted & translated by Gematsu) Yoshida revealed that the studio is currently hard at work producing the cutscenes for the game. Devil May Cry overlord Hideaki Itsuno has revealed he considered making a new Dragon’s Dogma game before plumping for Devil May Cry 5. Chatting with our sister site PlayStation Trophies, Itsuno-san revealed that he’d still like to develop a new entry in the cult fantasy-RPG series, although wouldn’t confirm outright if it’ll actually happen. ‘I’d love to make another Dragon’s Dogma,’ said Itsuno. ‘In fact before we started making Devil May Cry 5 I was really thinking hard and long about whether I want to make another Dragon’s Dogma game at this point or do I want to make a new Devil May Cry game....

Drawn to Death, the bloody action game set within the pages of a sketchbook, will now receive a traditional paid launch and will not be free to play, The Bartlet Jones Supernatural Detective Agency director David Jaffe has announced. Jaffe has also shared details on what players will get at launch. All six main characters will be available to unlock at launch. 505 Games has announced that 2.5D side-scrolling action RPG Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising will launch on May 10, 2022. The game takes place on the remote frontier of the Allraan known as New Nevaeh. Embracer Group (formerly known as THQ Nordic) are on another studio shopping spree, and this one may be their biggest yet as they’ve announced that they’ve snapped up Borderlands and Brothers in Arms creator Gearbox in a deal said to be worth a potential $1.3 billion USD.
