One of the most talked about aspects of next-generation gaming is Sony’s latest crack at the controller. Its history of iterative efforts with the DualShock line has been a bit divisive, as the controller’s often awkward shape isn’t for everyone. However, the DualSense improves on ergonomics, while introducing a raft of game-changing features. Now, it looks like Microsoft might want a piece of the DualSense pie with its Xbox controller....

Dying Light 2 has had a bit of a rough start amidst all of the hype and extensive marketing campaigns. Not only is the game filled with dread-inducing apocalyptic monsters and parkour, but it has a boatload of bugs as well. Having a few bugs on release isn’t uncommon for games, but evidently, Dying Light 2 has a very noticeable amount of bugs. Techland has dropped a new patch today for open world zombie parkour action game Dying Light 2 Stay Human. The latest update for the game brings with it a range of fixes and tweaks for the game, which arrived last month. On the Xbox side, these changes include some new graphics modes for those on Xbox Series consoles. They include a new Performance Mode that runs in 60FPS. On a similar vein, a new Balanced Mode offers the same framerate for Xbox Series X owners....

FIFA 23 is back and the game looks like a major upgrade on its predecessors. With the HyperMotion 2 Gaming Technology, FIFA comes quite close to real-world football. Final Fantasy 14 players are struggling to log in to servers due to a DDoS attack. A new post on The Lodestone states “technical difficulties due to a DDoS attack”, meaning players in North American data centre Worlds may be disconnected, have difficulty logging in, or difficulty accessing, sending, and receiving data. “We are investigating the attack and taking countermeasures.
