Who doesn’t love unboxing videos? If you’re anything like me you’ve seen plenty, mostly due to the fact I get a kick out of watching someone ogle something I know I can’t ever bloody afford. Square Enix is the latest company to follow suite, offering a glimpse at its upcoming Dissidia: Final Fantasy NT Ultimate Collector’s Edition. Clocking in at a wallet-draining $189.99, the Ultimate Collector’s Edition is one of four different versions of the scrapper, and comes with a figure of the Warrior of Light, a 15-track soundtrack, 80-page artbook, Season Pass, and a snazzy steelbook case and packaging....

What appears to be the first official promotional material for a new Predator movie has been posted over on the franchise’s Facebook page. The image above is accompanied by the text, “Here we go again, bro,” harking back to a line from Bill Duke in the original film. 20th Century Fox is yet to announce the film, but we’ve known it has been in development for some time. A screenplay was being produced by Shane Black (Iron Man 3) and Fed Dekker, the latter having been pretty open about the project on Facebook....

Bethesda has updated a blog post which previously suggested we might see more of Starfield next week at Gamescom. Fan excitment was sparked this week by word that Redfall and Starfield gameplay would be shown at a Community Get Together to be held next Friday, 26th August. “Come see Redfall and Starfield gameplay and get your hands on Fallout 76 while you’re there,” the blog teased. “Of course, we also have a few surprises and goodies in store for you....

E3 2020 has been canceled over coronavirus concerns, the Entertainment Software Association (ESA), which organizes the yearly trade show, confirmed in a statement. “Following increased and overwhelming concerns about the COVID-19 virus, we felt this was the best way to proceed during such an unprecedented global situation. We are very disappointed that we are unable to hold this event for our fans and supporters. But we know it’s the right decision based on the information we have today,” the ESA said....

And now publisher Bandai Namco has made the entire thing officially available to listen to across a wide range of music streaming services. With the launch of its Shadowkeep expansion, Destiny 2 will be introducing a new armor 2.0 system that is supposed to offer more customization to players. Through the use of mods and an energy economy, players will be able to give any piece of armor any perks that they want (as long as they don’t exceed the energy cost) in order to mesh looks with utility. But although Armor 2.0 is releasing with Destiny 2: Shadowkeep and will be available on all of the new Shadowkeep armor that is added with the expansion, other armor sets will support the system as well....

Epic Games has announced that gameshow-themed battle royale Fall Guys will go free to play when it finally arrives on Xbox & Switch next month.
