Ubisoft has announced the date for the final episode of DLC for adventure Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, declaring Judgment of Atlantis will release on July 16. The Final Fantasy 7 Remake demo will reportedly make an appearance at Pax East 2020, allowing fans of the game in Boston to try their hand at it. The demo will be the same one that appeared in Los Angeles, Cologne, Seattle, & Tokyo. Square Enix has released a new trailer for the upcoming Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade expansion and upgrade package for PlayStation 5. The new footage includes some slight late-game spoilers for the main game but also a bunch of action from the Yuffie-led FF7R Episode INTERmission. As Yuffie and Sonon Kusakabe, you’ll be teaming up to fight against Scarlet and Nero and use Summon Materia to call upon Ramuh. The trailer also gives us a look at the expansion’s new Fort Condor minigame, a tactical offering that will see you command units in a tabletop-like strategy game very loosely based on the original 1997 title’s Condor War minigame....

Donut County developer Ben Esposito has unveiled gameplay for his markedly different follow up Neon White, described as a “singleplayer speedrunning FPS” that even includes dating sim elements. The game puts you in the shoes of recently deceased assassin White. Plucked from Hell, White will get to stay in Heaven if he can purge it of a demonic invasion in ten days. To that end, you’ll be making your way through a series of floating-platform arenas, which you must traverse and clear of demons as fast as possible....

During the Oculus Connect 5 conference, Doom co-creator and Oculus CTO John Carmack detailed some of the Oculus Quest’s techncial specs. Carmack spoke about the Quest, which is an upcoming VR headset that allows users to play VR games without an accompanying PC. EA has announced that women will be joining the roster in EA Sports PGA Tour, which includes the LGPA Tour. In a statement regarding the addition, EA said that it “has done a great job in continuing to expand female representation.” It also expanded on the LGPA tour specifically, saying that it “will feature a wide breadth of women’s golfing representation.” In partnering with the Ladies Professional Golf Association, EA is also adding the Amundi Evian Championship to EA Sports PGA Tour....

Developer Full Circle has confirmed that Skate will be free-to-play. In a new video posted on the official Skate YouTube channel, several developers spoke about Electronic Arts’ upcoming skateboarding game. The video reveals several new pieces of information, but the big news is that it will be free-to-play. Full Circle’s justification is that it wants to make Skate as accessible as possible.
