EA and Codemasters have announced they’re welcoming the Portimao circuit in EA Sports F1 22 today. Fresh images have emerged of the Fallout TV series set, revealing the iconic Red Rocket gas stations for the first time. These aren’t official images, but have been taken from the set that’s still under construction and shared online by Twitter user J Carson (thanks PC Gamer). The images show the rundown gas station surrounded by rusting vehicles. The signage may be wrapped up but is still clearly recognisable, even without the typical giant red rocket on top....

They say a dog is man’s best friend, and Ubisoft clearly agrees with this sentiment in its latest Far Cry 5 trailer, where one bloke is happy pouring hours into the open-world adventure game while being smitten with his canine companion. Not a real dog mind, but rather Far Cry 5’s scruffy digital pooch, Boomer. Naturally this doesn’t sit too well with his poor pet, who after making several failed attempts to get his master’s attention, ends up giving up the ghost until the chap orders a toy gun to live out his Far Cry 5 fantasies with his loyal mutt....

The Far Cry franchise is one of Ubisoft’s biggest IPs to date, spanning several years, settings, and villains. The next entry in the franchise, Far Cry 6, was always a matter of when, not if, and it has now leaked to release by March 2021. Pro Clubs in FIFA 23 is receiving some new features. As revealed in a new trailer, the team-based game mode is being improved. The improvements include seasonal progression inspired by Ultimate Team, a reworked leveling system, and skill games in the team lobby. Seasonal progression was introduced into Ultimate Team a few years back. It lets players work towards various objectives each season and get rewards for doing so. Pro Clubs will receive a similar progression model with new rewards and objectives being added every six weeks....

EA’s latest financial results have revealed a 10 percent rise in sales for FIFA 23 compared to last year’s entry, while the series’ popular Ultimate Team mode seeing a six percent rise in players. FIFA 23 is the final footballing game from EA to feature the famous FIFA branding. It will also benefit from modes reflecting the upcoming 2022 and 2023 World Cups in Qatar and Australia/New Zealand. The first of those arrives next week for all major platforms except Nintendo Switch....

After half a decade of wait, Pokémon Go has at last completed the game’s Gen 3 Pokédex. The hit mobile game finally launched the long-awaited Kecleon, its final creature to come from Ruby and Sapphire’s Hoenn region, in a surprise move over the weekend. The game originally debuted its first Gen 3 creature all the way back in 2017. Kecleon is a chameleon Pokémon which can turn itself near-invisible. Since its initial announcement, Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot has revealed 9 playable characters, including Goku, 3 different versions of Gohan, Piccolo, Vegeta (and his Majin form), Trunks, Vegito, and Gotenks. Each of these have chronological restraints, however, as players will not see Kid Gohan during the Majin Buu saga or Vegito during the Frieza Saga. As such, some characters will get less time in the sun than others such as Vegito due to his late appearance in the Majin Buu Saga....
