EA Sports has announced some more details on its upcoming revival of formerly-dormant golf simulation title: EA Sports PGA Tour. In a press release coinciding with the real life 2021 PGA Championship teeing off later this week, the publisher confirmed that it will be the “exclusive home” of The Masters Tournament, U.S. Open Championship, The Open Championship and, of course, the aforementioned PGA Championship. For that last one, players will be able to play as or against past and present PGA Champions, hoist the Wanamaker Trophy and compete on both the 2021 hosts Kiawah Island and the 2022 hosts Southern Hill County Club courses to add to last month’s confirmation of Pebble Beach....

Eiyuden Chronicles: Hundred Heroes, the spiritual successor to the Suikoden series, is now in development for current and next-gen consoles after achieving its latest Kickstarter goal (via IGN). Previously, the game was only on its way to the PC, yet the rate with which the project was gaining funding meant that stretch goals were practically secure. Right now, £1.67 million has been pledged to the development of Eiyuden Chronicles, so the game will be a Xbox One, PS4, Xbox Series X, PS5 title, too....

During this year’s E3, developer Piranha Bytes unveiled the first trailer for ELEX II, the sequel to 2017’s action RPG ELEX. This trailer went all out in terms of spectacle, as it featured an angry protagonist slicing up aliens while a hardcore metal track blared in the background. Even though the original ELEX received fairly middle-of-the-road review scores, the trailer alone gives a reason to be excited about the sequel. Those interested in ELEX II will be happy to hear that the game now has a release date of March 1 2022, which is less than four months from now....

Everreach: Project Eden was originally supposed to be released at the end of September, only to get delayed for months. After the delay, I assumed that a polished product would be released. But to put it bluntly, Everreach: Project Eden doesn’t feel finished. Very little works as it should, and playing it is a dreary, obnoxious chore. I think the game could be just mediocre with several more months of polish, but as it is, it’s a frustrating mess that I can’t recommend to anyone....

Fans of Dodge Roll Games have gotten their fill of the hit shooter Enter the Gungeon already. Unfortunately, their options are rather limited when it comes to playing its follow-up, Exit the Gungeon. Currently, it’s an Apple Arcade exclusive — but that’s about to change. Bethesda has announced that it’s ironed out a particularly irksome Fallout 76 bug in its latest title update. The problem came about following last week’s reset, which actually failed to do its job and reset the nuke codes. As such, all codes were totally useless. They’re usually guarded by high level enemies too, making the task of hunting down the actual codes a pretty arduous process in itself. Anyway, the good news is that nukes are now functioning properly, so get stuck back in....
