In the wake of last month’s teaser for the upcoming EVGA Ryzen Dark Series motherboards, a photo of an actual product has been revealed. This will not come as too much of a surprise to most Ubisoft gamers but it has been confirmed nevertheless. Ubisoft is implementing the Denuvo anti-tamper piracy protection in the upcoming Far Cry 5. Ahead of the March release, the EULA that’s appeared on Steam confirms the presence of Denuvo which at least warns players of its presence ahead of launch. The note in the EULA also mentions that DRM could limit the number of installations....

EA has detailed FIFA 23’s Career Mode, which lets you play as a famous manager for the first time. In the manager career portion of Career Mode, you can use the likeness of a raft of famous managers from the Premier League, including Jürgen Klopp, Pep Guardiola, Antonio Conte and Thomas Tuchel. “We’ve seen feedback from players wanting to play as some of their favourite managers, and we’re happy to say FIFA 23 enables you to play as one of the 350+ authentic football managers, of which 30+ have star heads, in Career Mode,” EA said in a detailed blog post....

Tetsuya Nomura, the Square Enix designer and director, has said to expect some Final Fantasy VII-related news next month. Nomura spoke during a livestream (via Eurogamer) focussed on Final Fantasy VII: The First Soldier, a mobile battle royale. In it, he mentioned that next month would be the twenty-fifth anniversary of the original release, on PlayStation. And he said to expect some news. This could be a number of things. It could be some information on the next chapter of the remake....

Square Enix’s Final Fantasy XIII series – that is, Final Fantasy XIII, Final Fantasy XIII-2, and Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII – are joining Xbox One’s backwards compatibility lineup, Microsoft announced at X018. In addition to being playable on Microsoft’s flagship console, all three of the JRPG titles will feature Xbox One X support, so they’ll look even prettier than before. Football Manager 2017 is free to play all weekend on Steam for PC, Mac and Linux, SEGA has announced. The free play promo actually began yesterday at 5pm, and you have until Sunday, March 26 at 8pm GMT to shout at virtual footballer blobs. This isn’t a demo either, with complete, unrestricted access to the game giving players the chance to manage at more than 2,500 clubs.
