Without a doubt, the nostalgia and hype behind the remasters of Disney’s Lion King and Aladdin are as real as it gets. Many recall these classic games from their youth, as each initially released alongside its respective movie, so it’s good to see Disney’s Lion King and Aladdin getting the remaster treatment. However, in the games’ official announcement trailer, eagle-eyed fans noticed a peculiar spelling mistake. As many know, this remaster includes the Genesis, Game Boy, and Super Nintendo versions for the Lion King, with Aladdin not getting the Super Nintendo version, but getting the other two nonetheless....

Far Cry 5 lets you batter man and beast alike with shovels, but apparently this wasn’t enough for Ubisoft as it’s now gone on step further by introducing a new weapon into the mix: The Shovel Launcher. The new weapon arrives as part of the latest title update for the open-world behemoth, and basically does what it says on the tin: It’s a launcher that shoots shovels instead of harpoons or explosives....

Action movie superstar Danny Trejo has made his way to Far Cry 6 this week, as the game’s latest free DLC missions have been released. The two free crossover missions are playable both solo or in co-op. Danny & Dani vs Everybody is a new Yaran story where you’ll team up with the Machete star to take on Castillo’s forces. Apparently Trejo would like to come to Yara to make tacos and feed the hungry, but Castillo has other plans....

Focus Home Interactive has announced Farming Simulator 17, the next entry in the surprisingly popular farming series coming to PC and console simultaneously at “the end of 2016”. While details on the new game have yet to be revealed you should probably expect to hear more very soon, with the game set to be shown off to media for the first time later this week. What we do know, however, is that it’s being developed by Giants Software, the same studio behind Farming Simulator 14, 15 and 16....

Final Fantasy VII Remake is due to be released in a few months, and Square Enix is releasing character trailers on the official Twitter page for the game. During the E3 2019 Square Enix conference, it was revealed that Final Fantasy VIII, which first came out on the PlayStation in 1998, is getting a remaster. Final Fantasy VIII is considered a dark horse for the series, following a tough act in Final Fantasy VII. Today Square Enix hosted the 69th Final Fantasy XIV Letter From the Producer Live broadcast, focusing on upcoming update 6.1. As usual, producer and director Naoki Yoshida and global community producer Toshio Murouchi provided plenty of information, including following patches like 6.11, 6.15, and 6.18. First of all, we get to see the key art and learn the title of the update, which will be “Newfound Adventure.” It will release in mid-April and the key art portrays the fact that the warrior of light is going back to being an adventurer....
