Mike Laidlaw, best known for his work heading up BioWare’s Dragon Age series, has offered up a few small crumbs on his next project. The detail comes amid a set of announcements by Private Division, the Take-Two-owned publisher behind Hades, The Outer Worlds and Kerbal Space Progam 2. Laidlaw’s new game - the first from his new studio Yellow Brick Games - will be published by Private Division, though will not release until 2024’s financial year at the earliest....

The IP rights to 2020’s Journey to the Savage Planet have been bought by a new studio made up of former staffers from the game’s original development team. The newly formed Raccoon Logic is made up of several industry veterans who were former members of Typhoon Studios. They include former creative director Alex Hutchinson who was also previously the director on Far Cry 4 and Assassin’s Creed 3. He’s joined by Studio Head Reid Schneider who was also an executive producer on Batman: Arkham Knight....

Dragon Ball Z Kakarot is a game that many fans have been waiting on for a long time, and now that it’s out, players are getting exactly what they wanted. Dreamhaven is a brand new game development company founded by former Activision Blizzard employees. DICE and EA Games employees recently convened in London to hold a press conference that will feature updates on Battlefield 1943, Battlefield: Bad Company 2 Vietnam, Battlefield 3 and a brand new title. According to the EA Games’ Ben Cousins, DICE will be unveiling a brand new Battlefield title on Friday. He also made a point to note that this would be a completely new title unrelated to Battlefield 3. Cousins has been alluding to some major news on his Twitter account for the past week, as well as posting the censored image above....

EA is now offering a new PC subscription service for dedicated fans. Called Origin Access Premier, the new service will enable players to experience new EA games in full before launch. Several big upcoming games are listed to be available with the service, including Madden 19, Battlefield V, and Anthem, and many other games from EA’s expansive back-catalog will no doubt be accessible.
