Fallout 4 is showing off new gameplay at Gamescom 2015, so we sat down and had a look. That’s right. Look. Because Bethesda wouldn’t let us – or anyone else for that matter – play it. Ubisoft is reportedly working on both Far Cry 7 - its next mainline release in the series - and a standalone Far Cry multiplayer game. This news originated from Insider Gamer, but has since been corroborated by Kotaku. Sources state Ubisoft head Yves Guillemot referenced both of these upcoming Far Cry releases during an internal company update last week. Additionally, the same sources revealed that Far Cry 7 (known internally as Project Blackbird) is being made with Ubisoft’s Snowdrop engine, which is the same engine being used for its Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora game....

Capcom released the final trailer for the upcoming dynamic on-foot and mid-air combat 3rd person shooter, Dark Void, earlier today and we have it here for your viewing pleasure. The game is being developed by Airtight games and follows the character of William Agustus Grey as he ends up in another universe after crashing his cargo vessel in the Bermuda Triangle. The story is about Grey and the humans he meets in this parallel world fighting against the “Watchers,” aliens who were banished to this realm only to return and use humans as slaves, acting as gods....
Square Enix has confirmed that the next character to make the jump to Dissidia Final Fantasy NT will be Locke Cole, the slippery hero thief from Final Fantasy 6. The publisher confirmed the news during a recent livestream event, with Cole debuting in the arcade version of the flashy fighter this month before turning up in the PlayStation 4 release via a new update in June. It’s also Cole’s first time appearing in a Dissidia Final Fantasy game, and considering Final Fantasy 6’s popularity among fans, he’s sure to be a popular addition....
Despite being delayed slightly, fans are still counting down the days until Final Fantasy 7 Remake is released. Square Enix has been working on this much-desired return to one of the most beloved titles in the entire Final Fantasy franchise, and players are just hoping it doesn’t get delayed again. The game will feature a refreshed story and modernized designs of all of the characters, both main and secondary. The Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker benchmark has just been released, allowing prospective world saviors to figure out if their computer can run the forthcoming expansion. The benchmark plays seven minutes of in-engine cutscenes aimed at testing your specs, and judging by the trailer, these will include sweeping panoramas, gigantic battles, and a whole lot of pretty lights. After those seven minutes, the benchmark will display a score indicating how your system is likely to be able to cope with Endwalker — whether you’ll need lower settings, or if you can whack it up to full and enjoy....
After episodes Gladious and Prompto, Final Fantasy XV still has Episode Ignis to go, and a new trailer released today at Paris Games Week revealed that the final of the originally planned expansions Episode Ignis is due to land on December 13. The DLC will be set during Chapter 9 of the game, which shows what happened to Ignis during that chapter. It’ll also feature music from Chrono Trigger composer Yasunori Mitsuda....

Writing your own campaign in Dungeons and Dragons is an incredibly rewarding experience, but it can also be very difficult.
