During the first day of the FarmCon 2021 event, various aspects of the game were revealed across various showcases. This included a look at the brand new American map of Elm Creek, the new built-in seasons mechanic, and more. Different new features of the Giants Engine 10 which powers Farming Simulator 22 have also been revealed....

FIFA is coming to Nintendo Switch this year, though it doesn’t look like it will be available at launch, EA has announced. Speaking at the Switch reveal in Tokyo Executive Vice President, EA Worldwide Studios Patrick Söderlund offered some early info on the game. “EA Sports FIFA on Nintendo Switch will be the most immersive, social, and authentic sports game ever created for Nintendo players,” said Söderlund. “It will deliver the FIFA experience custom built for Nintendo Switch…so you can play anywhere, play with anyone, and play how you want to play....

UPDATE 25/02/22: Final Fantasy composer Nobuo Uematsu has explained why real singing was added to the opera scene in Final Fantasy 6 pixel remaster. In a new video to promote the game, he speaks with director Yoshinori Kitase on the creation of the scene (translated below by RPGSite). “In the original version it didn’t have vocals, so I thought it would be nice if we could actually put vocals in there,” he said....

Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes on Switch I must admit, The Dark Knight was the last thing I expected to pop in my head as I was powering through Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes. And yet, the more I played and the further I got into the game, that little voice in my head just kept going, “Stop pretending to care. Just get the job done and move on.” I’m not sure when it happened, but at some point, my brain started to shut out all the pleas for help from faceless citizens, and my sole focus was on trying to reach the end point as quickly as possible....

And then he wasn’t. The grand return of Tim Burton’s Batman and arguably the best Bruce Wayne ever put to film was unexpected in the first place, and his placement feels absurd. Could Keaton be playing the same Bruce Wayne that he did 30 years ago in The Flash movie? Bandai Namco has announced some substantial new free content coming for all owners of fighting RPG Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 later in the year. Entitled Hero Colosseum, the addition introduces an entirely new game mode where players use capsule toy versions of their favourite Dragon Ball characters in tactical boardgame-like scenarios. EA has announced EA Play, a brand new games event taking place this summer that invites fans in the UK and America to go hands-on with some of the publisher’s biggest games of the year. Battlefield 1 and Titanfall 2 both offer a different enough experience to exist side-by-side, EA CEO Andrew Wilson believes, with the two games said to deliver “the broadest set of gameplay mechanics” across the first-person shooter genre. Asked about “concerns around cannibalization and mistiming” during the company’s earnings call last night, Wilson explained that first-person shooters are a “giant category in our industry, $4.5 billion category”. “There is a very broad and diverse set of players who play games in that category who are looking to fulfil different gameplay motivations,” he continued....
