This DuckTales review contains spoilers. DuckTales Season 2 Episode 8 DuckTales has a delightful tendency to not go where you think it’s headed. The beginning of ‘Treasure of the Found Lamp!’ sets up what could be a standard adventure, which of course DuckTales would do great with, but goes an even more amazing direction. It (lovingly) lampoons epic quests and makes the actual plot much more pedestrian, to hilarious effect. Selene also made a welcome return, utilizing the world of DuckTales beautifully....

Last week we were contacted by Riot Games to get an exclusive early look at the next set for its smash hit digital card game Legends of Runeterra. This new set, titled Empires of the Ascended, focuses on the Egyptian-themed Shurima region. The set contains eight new champions and 110 brand new cards altogether. There was an abundance of great Super Smash Bros. Ultimate action during the Rising Stars Tournament at the 2019 Enthusiast Gaming Live Expo (EGLX) this weekend, and in the end Eric “ESAM” Lew dominated the competition in a surprise comeback. ESAM played throughout the day with his Pikachu main and faced a major hurdle when losing first against Aaron “Blacktwins13” Grandison-Vargas in the semi-finals, sending ESAM down to the losers bracket where he would need to climb back up for a shot at the top spot....

Bethesda’s Todd Howard rocked up at the publisher’s E3 press briefing today to provide a slew of new details on the upcoming Fallout 76. As previously confirmed, the game is a prequel to the entire Fallout series, but with a difference: It’s an online multiplayer experience. Fallout 76 will feature six regions spread across West Virginia, each one offering a wealth of risks and rewards. Furthermore, the game is being powered by all-new visuals, lighting, and landscape technology, resulting in the most ‘dynamic world ever created in the Fallout universe....

Today brought a whopper of an update for those waiting for news on the status of Final Fantasy XIV. When the recent Endwalker expansion released, it was to the praises of fans and critics alike. Some even heralded it as the best piece of content in the entire franchise. However, Square Enix very quickly started to suffer from their own success. Login queues became so long that Final Fantasy XIV digital sales and the Home World Transfer service had to be suspended due to how congested the servers were....

Final Fantasy XIV Online has surpassed 14 million registered players worldwide, Square Enix has announced. The online MMORPG achieved the milestone as it celebrates its fifth anniversary; or rather, the revamped version of the game known as Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn. The original version of the game launched in 2010, but was a bit of a shambles until Square Enix decided to apply some much-needed polish. If the 14 million milestone wasn’t impressive enough, Square’s press release says that four million players signed up for the epic fantasy title in the past 12 months alone....
