Build-your-own-bunker sim Fallout Shelter is heading to PC later this week, Bethesda has confirmed. A specific date has yet to be confirmed, but tweets from the game’s official Twitter account suggest it could be due to launch this Thursday, July 14. The game has previously been available to download on iOS and Android. Alongside the arrival of the PC release, a major new update for the mobile versions is due to roll out, too, introducing new enemies, characters and locations, plus a brand new combat system....

Fortnite’s Creative Mode kicked opened the door for imaginative fans to recreate epic landscapes. Since it’s launch in late 2018, fans have recreated Dunder Mifflin from The Office, Nuketown from Call of Duty: Black Ops, Helm’s Deep from The Lord of The Rings, and more. And now YouTuber Mustard Plays has recreated the original NES Legend of Zelda using Fortnite’s Creative Mode. Mustard Plays released a video two weeks ago announcing that he was working on bringing the original Legend of Zelda map to Fortnite....

Recently, Ubisoft revealed that it would be releasing 5 triple-A games by March 2021, with three of those being previously delayed games like Watch Dogs Legion and the other two remaining unconfirmed by the publisher. While 2K recently announced that Seth Rollins is the cover star for WWE 2K15, all the rebellious, anti-establishment wrestling game fans have been awaiting news on when Fire Pro Wrestling will launch. The wait is over. On the official Fire Pro Twitter account, it was announced today that Fire Pro Wrestling comes to Steam Early Access on July 10, and will cost $19.99. Developer Spike Chunsoft has said that the game will only spend ‘a few months’ in the Early Access, with the finished game expected to have ‘more robust editing tools and additional game modes/match options....

The original art is on the left, with the accused ad on the right. “Come on down to the Quirk Ford Freedom Sales event where ur free from such things as “copyright” and “infringement!”” Tweeted Campo Santo’s Sean Vanaman. Game Informer contacted Quirk Ford of Quincy, Massachusetts for comment, and was directed to Sean Western in the auto group’s advertising department....

Tropes vs. Women in Video Games, the video series crowdfunded in 2012, has now come to a close. The series was crowdfunded through Kickstarter by Anita Sarkeesian, pictured, and published on YouTube, via her website Feminist Frequency. The final episode is called The Lady Sidekick. Sarkeesian had previously produced a video series called Tropes vs. Women examining the portrayal of women in film and television. She garnered much more attention Kickstarting the second series when it initiated a landslide of harassment from some corners of the internet, gamers and others, who were extremely angry about the concept of her videos....

I recently discovered that I am towards the micromanagement end of the scale when it comes to Football Manager. Or maybe more accurately, off the end of that scale, a speck in the distance visible only with the kind of magnifying glass I use to inspect my player’s daily training habits. Popular former EA and Xbox executive Peter Moore has announced he’s returning to the world of gaming as he joins Unity Technologies as the SVP and GM of Sports and Live Entertainment. Making the announcement via his Twitter account, Moore said he was “Delighted to be reunited with so many industry friends as we work on some really cool stuff” and was congratulated by several prominent industry figures, including Xbox’s current head Phil Spencer....

Indie developer Splashteam has announced that it’ll be releasing its first game, Splasher, on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles later this month. The developer has promised that players will experience a ‘challenging 2D Platformer filled with humor and surprises’, and with some of the pedigree behind this game you’d be a fool not to believe them. Former Ubisoft game designer Romain Claude is overseeing the game’s design and programming,and he’s previously worked on the likes of Rayman Origins and Rayman Legends....
