9-year-old Dragon Ball FighterZ player Tsuyoshi, who goes by the tag 2YoC, made waves this year at EVO 2019. The young player went 3-0 through the Dragon Ball FighterZ tournament’s first round, coming out of pools undefeated and at the head of the winner’s bracket. With over 1,200 registered players in the Dragon Ball FighterZ tournament, 2YoC’s victories placed him among the top 256 players in the world. Coincidentally, his father Wasa also won all of his matches in the tournament’s first round....

The official Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout Twitter account has detailed what falling fans can expect in the game’s next mid-season update, which is due very soon. Previous mid-season updates have seen the battle-royale games courses get shaken up and new additions such as Big Yeetus, and this one is no different; with one new level promised, over 40 “variations” for the existing stages, a ‘Fall Feed’, a new DLC pack, new shows and costumes and some of the recent special crossover costumes such as Sonic the Hedgehog and Untitled Goose Game will be added to the regular store for another chance to buy them if you missed them the first time around....

The developer behind Farming Simulator has revealed it’s officially launching its own eSports league, because why the hell not? Farming Simulator is actually really popular, especially in Europe, so it was bound to happen. Giants Software confirmed that more details will be revealed in the next couple of weeks, but did reveal that it’ll roll out a series of tournaments across Europe featuring a prize pool of €250,000. 10 teams will slug it out on the fields for the hope of bagging the title of ‘Farming Simulator champion....
Final Fantasy XIV director and producer Naoki Yoshida confirmed that the MMO will arrive on the PlayStation 5 (via WccfTech). The PlayStation 5 is backwards-compatible, sure, but the Final Fantasy franchise has never skipped the pomp and circumstance of a new announcement or a new lot of hardware doodads. A small developer that goes by the name Hypnotic Ants is releasing its first-ever game today. The new 3D puzzler Dreamo is a narrative-driven adventure game that features fully-voiced narration. While it’s a relatively unknown title, both the release trailer and official screenshots suggest good things. Publisher Carbon Studio is a Polish VR-centric company. It has been responsible for many virtual reality titles such as The Wizards and Alice VR. Similarly, Dreamo has a virtual reality version in development, currently announced for sometime soon in Q1 2020....
The composer behind the soundtrack for Duke Nukem 3D is here to kick ass and file lawsuits. And he’s not deprived of the latter. According to a report by Gamasutra, Bobby Prince, whose audio work also includes Wolfenstein 3D and Doom (1993), has filed a lawsuit against Gearbox, CEO Randy Pitchford, and Valve. In the lawsuit, Prince alleges that Gearbox used his music in a Duke Nukem 3D re-release without compensation or obtaining a license....
In Dungeons & Dragons it is often difficult to decide who can be trusted; a mutliverse filled with mythical beings, magic, and fickle deities definitely muddy the waters. Trusting the wrong NPC can easily spell doom for even the most capable of adventuring parties. Often the most innocuous of NPCs can prove to be the most dangerous.
