At $99, these cans ought to be a solid starter for budding audio enthusiasts, promising great audio even if you’re driving them from a standard phone or computer rather than a powerful DAC. The ESA’s intentions for E3 2020 have been disclosed in a pitch deck for group members, and it includes turning E3 into a festival in which influencers and the media will be paid to ‘control content and the message’ of the event (via GameDaily.biz). E3 2019 was hit with noteworthy losses that inferred the future of the trade fair is on shaky ground. This isn’t exactly the most surprising of news. Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order proved to be a hot commodity for Electronic Arts, and a standout result of the publisher’s agreement with Disney. In its latest earnings call, EA confirmed that it will continue to invest in the series. Iron Galaxy’s Ogre-slaying adventurer Extinction has received a new trailer for your viewing pleasure, which amusingly contains a big fat notice at the start confirming the game does not feature microtransactions. The meat of the trailer however deals with the various key areas of Extinction, with Iron Galaxy tapping into its experience with scrappers to create a skill-based combat system for the game. Last week tech entrepreneur and living meme machine Elon Musk unveiled Tesla’s latest creation, the Cybertruck. With comparisons being made to it looking like a rejected Star Fox vehicle, to even being modded into Goldeneye 007, the Cybertruck has been the internet’s newest punching bag to hilarious effect. There have even been rumors that the Cybertruck will be in Cyberpunk 2077. Rocket League players don’t want to be left out and have launched a petition to add the car as DLC for the game....

Farming is in my blood. My grandfather was a second-generation farmer, and we were practically raised on the family farm during the summers. It’s been nearly two months since Ubisoft released For Honor and while it’s a good game overall, there are a ton of negatives about it. What’s worse is, since it’s been released, Ubisoft has done a few software updates, but none of them have had a noticeable impact on the in-game experience. Yours truly has spent a grand total of 172 hours and 32 minutes with For Honor and, in that time, I’ve noticed one major thing: it’s both the best and the worst game that I’ve ever played....

Dishonored 2 is the week’s only new entry inside the UK Top 10, charting at fourth with sales down 38 per cent compared to 2012’s first first game. Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare holds at No.1 for a second week, though sales took a 55 per cent drop over launch week. FIFA 17 moves up into second place, with sales actually improving by six per cent week-on-week. Battlefield 1 takes third and Bethesda’s Skyrim Special Edition is pushed down to fifth....

Many of the new weapons from this year’s Doom have been added to goretastic mod Brutal Doom. Field drones can also be used to upgrade the weapons, though this is currently limited to shotgun and heavy assault rifle. Players can also duel wield the majority of weapons.
