Maximum Games has dropped a new ‘Announce’ trailer for survival horror Fobia – St. Dinfna Hotel which is coming later this year. We’re using the quote marks because technically the game was first announced back in December. But still, this is an all-new trailer with brand new footage of the horrors players will face in the game. They’ll be taking on the mantle of amateur journalist Roberto Leite Lopes who’s following an ill-advised tip about strange goings on at the hotel....

With the release of Football Manager on the horizon, players currently on the PC beta have discovered a neat new feature that sees the possibility of players coming out as openly gay during gameplay. Confirming the discovery via Twitter, studio director Miles Jacobson said that a player coming out gives a ‘nice little boost’ to merchandise sales for a club, due to the extra supporter base – as per their own evidence of what they’ve seen happen in the real sport....

EA has moved to rebuke yesterday’s reports claiming executives blamed the poor launch of Battlefield 2042 on Halo Infinite. EA has said that the company’s recent move to acquire Codemasters for $1.2 billion USD will allow them to “release new racing experiences annually”. EA is “absolutely actively looking” at HD remasters for current generation consoles, executive VP Patrick Soderlund has told Game Informer.
