Nintendo has announced a new game for mobile devices. Dr. Mario is returning with a new game, titled Dr. Mario World. According to the press release, Nintendo is partnering with LINE Corporation and NHN Entertainment for the development of Dr. Mario World. Other important information about the upcoming game includes device compatibility: Dr. Mario World will be available on IOS and Android. As for the price model, Nintendo says the game will be free to download, with the optional in-app purchases....
Dragon Ball Z is filled with iconic moments that fans still relish today, from Goku’s ascension to Super Saiyan in his fight against Frieza to filler content like when Goku and Piccolo attempt to get their own driver’s license. To the delight of fans, these moments appear in Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot and play to the nostalgia of the original anime, but there’s one missing moment fans will immediately notice. Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot is coming soon to hopefully bring the franchise away from fighting games. Yes, there have been several other types of Dragon Ball games in the past. Xenoverse took the series into MMO territory, but still largely played like a fighting game. Dragon Quest Builders series director Kazuya Niinou has left Square Enix, as announced on Twitter (via Gematsu). ‘With development on Builders 2 completed, I have left Square Enix. To Naoki Yoshida, Noriyoshi Fujimoto, Takuma Shiraishi, all of my colleagues, and everyone who enjoyed the games I made, thank you so much! I truly appreciate your support,’ Niinou stated on Twitter. He then assured fans that he will continue to act as external staff for Square Enix and for Dragon Quest Builders 2....

EA Play 2017 will take place June 10-12 at the Hollywood Palladium and live to viewers worldwide via EA.com. Elgato, provider of streaming peripherals, has released the new Stream Deck Pedal for foot control of streams. It consists of three pedal buttons that can be programmed - like the standard Stream Deck - to control software, hardware and more. On a basic level it means keeping your hands on the controller or mouse while you play games. But it has other applications too. For some disabled streamers, for instance, the Stream Deck Pedal could provide useful alternative inputs, although the price point may be off-putting for some....
The much-lauded Elite: Dangerous is finally coming to PlayStation 4 on June 27, after being available on other platforms for quite some time. Developer Frontier Developments made the announcement on PlayStation Blog, saying you’ll be able to pre-order the digital version from the PlayStation Store from May 30. The game will also be available at retail once its out. Originally out on PC back in December 2014, and then on Xbox One in October 2015, the PS4 version will include the base game that was available elsewhere, as well as the Horizons expansion that was out at the tail-end of 2015....
Embracer Group has now completed its acquisition of Square Enix’s western studios, namely Crystal Dynamics, Eidos-Montréal, and Square Enix Montréal. Back in May, Square Enix sold off its western studios and IP (including Tomb Raider and Deus Ex) to Embracer for just $300m. Now, three months later, the acquisition has been completed, according to a press release from Embracer.
