Finish Line Games’ wholly ridiculous game Maize is now out on Xbox One and PS4, and has a launch trailer to pique your interest. Maize, which came out on PC last year to a mixed response, is an absurdist puzzle game about a secret underground weird science facility populated by talking maize corn. Flowzone Takes Olliolli World Into The Clouds

OlliOlli World’s last DLC brought in aliens and anti-gravity beams and made me think of the Mario Galaxy games, particularly in the way that its levels seemed to push at the edges of what a platforming or skating level could be. These were high-wire acts, some of them dauntingly sparse. And yet once you came to understand what was demanded of you, there turned out to be ample room for showboating, points-hording, and self-expression, the last element being the thing that OlliOlli World is really all about....

Foretales Review A Deep Deck Of Fun

Foretales on PC There has been no shortage of cards in games in recent times, and depending on your preference, this can either be the best thing in gaming for a while now, or an unnecessary blending of genres. However, it is hard to deny that some truly creative endeavors have been born out of utilizing cards as part of the gameplay, and in Alkemi’s Foretales, it is a great complement to an adventure game brimming with possibilities that ultimately makes a few missteps....

Does Link Die At The End Of The Legend Of Zelda Link S Awakening

Though first-party Nintendo games have earned a reputation for being family-friendly outings, The Legend of Zelda series has cultivated its own reputation for including lots of dark and depressing elements. The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time shows a nightmarish version of Hyrule that is overrun with undead, The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess is home to a dark realm of shadows that exists parallel to the real world, and The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask is all about the residents of a doomed town preparing for an end that Link can only stop with the aid of time travel....

Dragon Ball Fighterz Is Adding Cooler To Its Roster

Bandai Namco Games is adding Cooler to Dragon Ball FighterZ, the publisher confirmed during Evo 2018 over the weekend. For those out of the loop (i.e., me) Cooler is the central baddie from the film Dragon Ball Z: Cooler’s Revenge, and is basically a steroid-induced version of his little bro, Frieza. He’s also King Cold’s oldest son, which gives him a lot of clout. Bandai Namco has yet to confirm when Cooler will be available to break some backs, but until then there’s always base Goku and base Vegeta to keep you busy when they arrive as DLC on August 8....

Dreams Has Apparently Been A Bit Of A Nightmare To Work On

Media Molecule’s PlayStation 4 craft-’em-up Dreams has been in development for around six years, according to a new interview with the British-based developer’s creative director. Mark Healey revealed that not only has the team been beavering away on the ‘ridiculously ambitious’ project for over half a decade, but it appears to have run into some troubles along the way; Healey notes it has been ‘remade’ twice already. And yes, he was only too well aware of the irony of making a game called Dreams yet it being something of a ’nightmare’ to work on....

Dungeons And Dragons Easiest Classes For New Players

Dungeons and Dragons is a wonderful pass time, but it can be pretty intimidating to get into the first time around. There’s tons of information online about the easiest campaigns to DM and tips for actually playing the game, but for most new players picking a class is the most difficult part. The 5e Player’s Handbook does a pretty good job of explaining how to play a class, but some are certainly a bit easier than others - both to roleplay, and go through combat with....

Ea S Peter Moore Doubts The Importance Of Graphics For The Next Gen

In an industry of rapidly evolving technology and a fickle community that is always looking for the next bigger and better thing, the visual eye-candy that is “graphics” has held a tight grip on the priorities of the medium for years. This has been a bane on the existence of fans and developers who would rally for games with better stories, new mechanics or innovative feature sets. It now seems as though those cries have fallen on the ears of someone with pockets and influence deep enough to matter....

Elden Ring Best Sorceries

Elden Ring has the most robust magic system of any FromSoftware game so far, with all manner of spectacular spells to cast. Not all of them are very good, though. In fact, some are arguably useless, and it’s often hard to tell which is worth investing in as you attempt to build a powerful arsenal to take down the game’s harder bosses and areas. Here we’ll be reviewing what we consider the best sorceries in Elden Ring....

Elden Ring Deathbed Smalls Soft Ban Fix

After the ‘Infinite Falling Death Loop‘ glitch, the hackers have found new ways to make other players’ gameplay suffer. Just like last time, hackers would join you for PvP but instead of ‘crashing’ your save file, now they just drop an armor piece. The armor is called ‘Deathbed Smalls’. Unsuspecting players would pick up this armor and within a few hours, your account will be banned by the devs. So today let’s look at how to fix and get back your account due to Deathbed Small Soft Ban in Elden Ring....

Every Silent Hill Rumor And Leak So Far

It has been years since Konami cancelled development of Silent Hills, despite much fanfare around its PT demo, which was arguably one of the most frightening experiences in gaming. But fans remained hopeful of its development resuming in the future, or other Silent Hill games being developed for the future, upon Konami renewing its Silent Hill trademark back in July, 2019. The application for the Silent Hill trademark was filed with the Government of Canada by Konami Digital Entertainment, and it shows it is categorically related to “video games....

Ex Blizzard Staffer Says He Quit Due To Racial Abuse

Julian Murillo-Cueller, an ex-staff member at Blizzard Entertainment, has claimed in a post on TwitLonger that he suffered racial abuse and discrimination during his time at the studio, resulting his decision to leave the company. The former employee spoke of how he suffered from suicidal thoughts as a result of the abuse, and said that he thought his health ‘would never recover during my time at Blizzard.’ ‘During December 2017, I reached out to the [Equal Employment Opportunity Commission], hoping to get a resolution should Blizzard fail, and that’s when I realized of the statute of limitations regarding my racial discrimination and abuse,’ he wrote....
