Klei Entertainment has unveiled its 2019 roadmap for Don’t Starve Together. The team is bringing new content in the shape of biomes, creatures, and characters. According to the update on the game’s Steam Community page, the first batch of content will drop in a few short months. Starting in April, there will be new lands in which to starve with your friends. The update will bring never-before-seen monsters inhabiting brand new biomes....

The latest Story of Seasons title, Story of Seasons: Doraemon, combines familiar farming with popular anime. When you and your friends, from the Doraemon anime, end up stranded in an unfamiliar town, you’ll need to seek work and shelter. Playing as Noby, your job is to clean up and run a farm. Over time your farm will expand and you’ll be able to keep livestock, decorate and upgrade your buildings and tools....

Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot was a huge hit for fans of the iconic and beloved franchise. With CyberConnect2 adapting the story of the Dragon Ball Z anime with painstaking accuracy, fans were able to relive nostalgic moments in an interactive yet abbreviated and enjoyable way. Nevertheless, many fans are pining for a sequel or a DLC featuring the story of Dragon Ball Super and all of its characters. Although there has been no official announcement regarding the possibility of this happening, Dragon Ball Super certainly has a lot of potential to be made into an RPG style game like this and would likely introduce a host of new playable characters....

When thinking of the beloved films of your childhood, you may think of Disney first. The most notable would most likely be Shrek and its subsequent sequels, of course. Three new pieces of DLC for Evolution’s top PS4 racer DriveClub are now available to download for free from PlayStation Store. Two of them – the All Stars Tour Pack and All Stars Livery Pack – are available to all owners of DriveClub and DriveClub Bikes, and introduce six new events, three new trophies, and a unique livery design. The third, meanwhile – the EBR Expansion Pack – is only available to players who picked up last month’s DriveClub Bikes, and features six new events, three new trophies and two brand new superbikes: the Erik Buell Racing 1190RX superbike and Erick Buell Racing 1190SX superbike....

Dune: Spice Wars launches in early access form on 26th April. The real-time strategy game features four factions fighting each other for control of spice on Dune’s iconic desert planet, Arrakis. Publisher Funcom and developer Shiro Games also announced the fourth playable faction, the Fremen, who join the Atreides, Harkonnen and Smugglers factions. Here’s the official blurb: “With a greater capacity to move across and withstand the open desert, less chance to attract colossal sandworms, and an improved ability to ally with hidden Sietches (neutral native settlements), the Fremen are uniquely poised to expand their area of influence in order to control the planet....

Electronic Arts (EA) is introducing a new app to replace Origin, which failed to strike the right chords with gamers. EA recognized it was not the most optimized game launcher. It’s expected the app would be more streamlined, faster, and more reliable than Origin....

EA is pretty keen on joining the likes of Google, PlayStation, and Xbox in the cloud gaming world and has already made great strides. The company started testing its new Project Atlas - a codename - back in September, making the likes of FIFA 19, Titanfall 2, Need for Speed Rivals and Unravel available to play on the platform. Project Atlas will be among cloud gaming options like Stadia, PlayStation Now and xCloud when it launches fully but the publishers have left fans understandably surprised after announcing that more EA titles will become available on xCloud....

Dragon Age 2 is giving fans a ton of ways to acquire loot before they step into the boots of Hawke and become the champion of Kirkwall. To date, there is an item designed by Penny Arcade, Isaac Clarke’s Dead Space 2 armor, and the contents of the Bioware Signature Edition. Now BioWare is offering fans of the Dragon Age series another opportunity to start their game a little bit ahead of the curve through the Dragon Age: Legends Facebook game....

There’s a wide range of weapons that you can equip as you progress through the Lands Between in Elden Ring. But to fight stronger bosses, you need weapons of higher scaling. You can increase the scaling of a weapon by applying the Ashes of War and affinities onto the weapon. Speaking of affinities, they not only increase the power scaling but also adds status and damage effects. You can apply affinities once you have obtained Whetblades for the affinities....

Hidetaka Miyazaki loves poison swamps, even if you don’t. The Souls games are notorious for including dark, dank swamp areas filled with toxic enemies: the nightmarish Valley of Defilement in Demon’s Souls, or the endless depths of Blighttown in Dark Souls. Elden Ring is set to also include poison areas, of course. That’s because Miyazaki loves them - he just can’t help himself. “In terms of how the player feels when they encounter this area that is a different story,” Miyazaki told Game Informer....

This week on the Eurogamer Newscast, we’re sharing our thoughts on last night’s big PlayStation State of Play event. To some extent, Sony had set expectations for what the night would bring. This was an event which focused on third-party announcements, almost exclusively from Japan. But what we expected (Final Fantasy!) was not quite what we got (The DioField Chronicle!) and what we initially thought we were seeing (Dino Crisis!) turned out to be something else entirely (Exoprimal, which looks a bit like Anthem)....

The Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon series by Ubisoft was a shot in the arm for the shooter genre and introduced tactical gameplay in a big way. Players loved the strategic requirements of controlling a squad rather than mindlessly shooting in first person and the games did Tom Clancy justice by having some very interesting storylines. Nevertheless the series has seen some major ups and many major downs over the years and only recently seems to be recovering from a run of unpopular games with a promising title Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Breakpoint coming sometime this year....

Publisher Saber Interactive and developer Boss Team Games have confirmed that their upcoming co-op PvP shooter, Evil Dead: The Game, has received yet another delay pushing it back to May 13, 2022. The chainsaw-’em-up was announced at The Game Awards back in 2020 and was originally scheduled to launch in 2021. However, the game was later delayed to this February, 2022. Now, it’s been pushed back yet a few more months in a bid for the developer to “deliver the best possible experience....

Capcom has offered fans an even closer look at gameplay from upcoming sci-fi dinosaur shooter, Exoprimal. The fifteen minute video is an extended version of what we saw in the trailer earlier this week. However, this time we get an entire match of the game’s Dino Survival mode between two teams. The AI Leviathan presides over proceedings, as he sets out challenges, many of which include blasting through hordes of dinos....

Gust’s Fairy Tail RPG adaptation shares a lot of similarities with its Atelier series, as revealed in a live gameplay session at EGX 2019 (via DualShockers). The game is about halfway through its development journey and based on this snippet of gameplay, it’s in ship-shape so far. And, it’s adopting a lot of the features and mechanics that developer Gust has used in its Atelier series. For example, the arcs of Fairy Tail will be split into chapters and these chapters will then be separated into episodes....
