Spitfire Interactive, a new studio established by key members of the team that worked on acclaimed deck-building dungeon-crawler Hand of Fate, has unveiled Capes, a “gritty” new turn-based superhero RPG coming to Steam next year. Capes takes place in a world where, during the Golden Age of superheroes, the villains finally managed to get the upperhand, completely wiping out humanity’s protectors. Two decades on, however, in a dystopian city where superpowers are outlawed, a new generation of superheroes begins to rise with the goal of finally ending the reign of evil once and for all....

Death isn’t a common occurrence in My Hero Academia, and for good reason. It won’t be long before players will be ripping and tearing through the demonic forces of Hell in the upcoming Doom Eternal. To sate players who need a fix of action before March 20th, the first 10 minutes of gameplay are out for all to see. The game, which has been delayed from its original November 2019 release date, continues in the tradition of previous iterations of the series. The upcoming action-RPG Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot has had a strong presence at Gamescom. Not only has Bandai Namco released a new trailer showing Teen Gohan gameplay, but it also gave a proper reveal to Bonyu, the brand new character that was first confirmed earlier this week. Bandai Namco has released two new images for Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot, one that shows the Ginyu Force doing their signature pose, and one that shows character art for Bonyu....

When Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot debuted on Steam earlier this month, it was a big hit with anime fans. However, there were some issues in need of addressing. Fortunately, Bandai Namco is aware of this. Techland has announced that it will be unveiling Bloody Ties, its first major DLC expansion for Dying Light 2: Stay Human next week. The team did so by way of a short teaser trailer, declaring the DLC will be a part of Gamescom’s Opening Night Live show. The video doesn’t give too much away. Sony announced at their E3 2010 press conference some details on their all-new optional online premium service, PlayStation Plus. After poking fun at Microsoft for having a pay-mandatory internet service, they… did it themselves. This one however, is entirely optional so you don’t need to worry if you’re just into using PSN to play games online. Plus will be available for $49 a year (or 3 months for $17) after its launch on June 29th this year....

In late July, EA confirmed that the next Need for Speed game will make a showing during Gamescom later this month. However, it appears the publisher will lift the veil a little early. The company has launched a countdown site for the game, with a clock ending on Aug. 14. We have known that a new Need for Speed has been looking to cross the development line since May. Elden Ring is the latest action-RPG developed by FromSoftware and published by Bandai Namco. It features a large open-world for players to explore, and it houses tons of secrets and weapons for players to uncover. Like in previous Souls games, players will be able to create a build that suits their play style, and make use of a variety of weapons and armor to help keep things fresh. The gaming world is ablaze with hype regarding CD Projekt RED’s Cyberpunk 2077. This week, it was revealed that the upcoming open-world title will feature three distinct prologues. Players basically create a custom character and decide between three origins: Nomad, Corpo, or Street Kid. These prologues, called lifepaths, will definitely impact quite a few things in the game. Lifepaths all have different starting points, and while their stories are different, all three will correlate strongly with Cyberpunk‘s main quest....

A new gameplay trailer for Evil Dead: The Game shows fans what they can expect when they take on the role of the Kandarian Demon. Players who wish to walk the dark side in the upcoming asymmetrical multiplayer game will take on this role. As they’re on the team of the Deadites, they’ll be trying to stop the heroes from surviving the night. To do so, they can call on a range of abilities and an army of Deadites at their disposal....
