Former Valve writer Chet Faliszek has announced via his Twitter that he’s joined Bossa Studios to work on an unannounced PC game. Faliszek also confirmed that he wouldn’t be relocating to London, instead remaining in Seattle and working at Bossa Studios new Seattle base.

Bossa also confirmed the hire on its own official Twitter.

Excited I’m joining @bossastudios to direct an unannounced PC action co-op game trying to do something new in the narrative space using AI.

Not much is known about this new title, although Faliszek has confirmed in a response to a Twitter user that it wouldn’t be a VR title. This technically means that there’s still a possibility it’s Half Life 3.

He went on to say that although he’d be based in Seattle, Bossa Studios is currently hiring for its London studios.

This project is not VR but still have some VR side projects going.

Faliszek departed in May of this year, after working at Valve for over 12 years, and has writing credits on games that include both of the Half-Life episodes, and Portal. Faliszek worked alongside Eric Wolpaw, and Mark Laidlaw, who’ve both left Valve in the last 12 months. Faliszek penned the aforementioned games, as well as Left 4 Dead and Left 4 Dead 2.
