With the Call of Duty League in full swing, and opening weekend already a thing of the past, some teams are already starting to find their identity while others struggled early. On top of that, players either began making a name for themselves, disappointed, or showed everyone why they are the best in the league. There is a lot of top-tier talent heading into the London Weekend, but here are five players that should be watched in London.

Anthony “Shotzzy” Cuevas-Castro (Dallas Empire)

Shotzzy is an interesting player to watch for the Dallas Empire. He has been hyped since making the transition from a world champion in Halo to now playing in the Call of Duty League, but failed to impress during the opening weekend. The talent is their but his first showing offline proved rough. He will need to turn it around in London if the Empire want to make their mark as truly one of the best teams in the league.

Dylan “Envoy” Hannon (Chicago Huntsmen)

Envoy was an animal for the Chicago Huntsmen during the opening weekend. Even with some of the most iconic players in history on his team, Envoy stood out from the rest with his electric play. He will definitely be a player to watch, not only this weekend, but the rest of the season going forward. The Huntsmen are scary when they are playing to their potential, and Envoy is destroying people.

Bradley “wuskin” Marshall (London Royal Ravens)

The London Royal Ravens came into the opening weekend with something to prove and quickly dismantled the New York Subliners. A major factor for the London victory was the nutty play from wuskin throughout all three maps (especially on Search and Destroy). Despite dropping 3-0 to Paris, wuskin continued to play well and looks to continue that play in front of the home crowd in London. The Royal Ravens can be scary going forward, and wuskin is a big reason for that.

Thomas “ZooMaa” Paparatto (New York Subliners)

There wasn’t much to like from the New York Subliners’ performance during opening weekend. They came out flat against London for a 3-0 beating and then lost to the Atlanta FaZe (the clear favorites) 3-1. The only bright spot was essentially a perfect performance from ZooMaa on Domination against Atlanta which was the major factor for them stealing a map. The Subliners were hailed as one of the better teams in the league, but failed to reach their potential. ZooMaa will be a massive factor to the teams success and if he performs up to his Domination level against Atlanta, he is a must watch during the London Weekend.

Adrian “MettalZ” Serrano (Toronto Ultra)
