At the Square Enix E3 press conference, the company revealed that they are remastering Final Fantasy VIII and bringing it to Steam this year. While a release date wasn’t announced, it was confirmed for 2019. Is Square Enix testing the waters for its popularity? Can we expect a full remake announcement in a few years? Time will tell!
