The upcoming demo of Final Fantasy VII Remake is one of the worst-kept secrets in the industry and it has led to a ton of leaks, as numerous images showing content from an early build of Final Fantasy VII Remake have now appeared online.

The images seem to have been ripped from the demo that was uploaded to the PlayStation Network on Christmas Eve. Fans have managed to gain access to the content within the demo and they have uncovered a lot of material from what appears to be an earlier build of the game, as the quality of some of the sprites appears to be an incomplete state. These images were found in a Resetera thread and in an ever-increasing Imgur folder. The images ahead contain pictures of characters from Final Fantasy VII Remake that have yet to be officially revealed and screenshots revealing changes made to the story. You have one last chance to turn around or forever hold your peace!

The final party member in Final Fantasy VII Remake has now been revealed, as we now have a good look at Red XIII’s updated design.

This collage of images suggests that the final battle of the game will now involve Jenova and Sephiroth, rather than pitting the party against the Motor Ball.

This is Scarlet, the heartless Head of Weapons Development for the Shinra Corporation.

This is Reeve, the Shinra executive who controls the Cait Sith robot from afar.

Here is the President Rufus Shinra, wielding the gun he uses in his boss battle.

This is the creepy Shinra executive known as Palmer.

These images suggest that the soundtracks from the other games in the Compilation of Final Fantasy VII will either unlockable or sold as paid DLC.

These two images show the Chocobo stagecoach driver from the Wall Market section of the game.

Professor Hojo is here in all of his creepy glory.

This image shows early versions of Elenor and Young Aerith, possibly during the flashback involving Tseng visiting their home.

The headless corpse of Jenova, shown in far greater detail than in the original version of the game.

The Sample: H0512 boss will be returning in Final Fantasy VII Remake.

Surprisingly, the Sword Dance enemy will be returning and its design is true to the one from Final Fantasy VII.

The scene that everyone has been waiting to see has been revealed! Cross-dressing Cloud and the Wall Market quest have now been revealed to the world.

A shot from what appears to bethe Nibelheim Reactor, which suggests that the Kalm flashback will be moved forward to the Midgar section of the game.

There is a lot to unpack with these images. It seems that an effort is being made to bring the Sephiroth/Jenova storyline forward and integrate it into the Midgar section of the game, while many of the sillier designs have modernized in fun ways. Final Fantasy VII Remake will be changing a lot as part of its transition into a series, but it seems that the spirit of the original game will be kept intact.

Final Fantasy VII Remake will be released for PlayStation 4 on March 3, 2020.
