Over 130 player cards are to get an upgrade in FIFA 15 Ultimate Team following the close of the winter transfer window, EA Sports has announced.

Players across all three tiers (Gold, Silver and Bronze) have been assessed as well as In-Form cards. The most prominent upgrade has been to Tottenham’s Harry Kane, who has received nine points to his overall rating, moving him from 68 to 77 and upgraded to a gold card.

With Non-IF cards being added to packs, expect the Transfer Market to be flooded with unwanted buys, so now would be a good time to head online and see if you can grab yourself a bargain.

  • “Upgrades apply to new non-inform players found in packs. Non-IF (In-Form) players in your Club will not receive an upgrade.”
  • “If an upgraded player’s new OVR (Overall) rating equals or surpasses his existing first in-form’s rating, his IFs will be upgraded respectively.”
  • “If an upgraded player’s new OVR rating does not equal or surpass his existing in-form’s rating, his IFs will not be upgraded. (Eg: Depay has been upgraded from 78 to 79 OVR, therefore his 80 OVR IF will not receive an upgrade)”
  • However, if an upgraded player with an existing IF gets upgraded across Quality tiers (eg. Silver to Gold), his lower-quality IF will not be upgraded. This preserves the in-form’s high value. (Eg: Harry Kane has been upgraded to a Gold, but his two existing silver IFs will not receive upgrades and will stay Silver.)
  • If you already own the in-form version of an upgraded player in your Club, your IF will be upgraded.

Here’s the complete tables of the upgrades for all players. You can see the In-Form upgrades below, too:
