FaZe Jarvis, the Fortnite streamer who was permanently banned from the game after he decided to use an aimbot and post the video online, has now released a music video about the experience.
It’s not really worth the three minutes it takes to watch, but it sure is an… experience?
The heavily-autotuned video doesn’t really seem to have a purpose other than to provide a way for Jarvis to talk about how much money he makes, how good he is at Fortnite, and to simply acknowledge the fact that he got banned.
It also shows him shooting people dressed in ridiculous outfits that vaguely resemble Fortnite skins, so it has that going for it.
It’s an oddly cocky video to be released by a teen who previously released a tear-filled apology about his choice to publicly cheat. He raps about wearing Gucci flip flops, sniping kids all day, making millions of dollars, and almost qualifying for the Fortnite World Cup.
A previous video showed the process of making the song in just 24 hours, and it makes it pretty clear that he’s not taking the whole thing seriously, which is a good thing, because otherwise that would imply that Jarvis is launch a music career. Given the hundreds of thousands of views and tens of thousands of likes that the music video got, however, it’s possible that he might end up being successful anyway if he goes down that route.
More likely, however, Jarvis will keep doing what he’s been doing for the past few months: creating comedy skits and clickbaity videos that’ll feed his fans enough content to keep his career as a Youtuber going, even if his career in Esports ends up staying eternally stalled.
However, if poking red-hot needles into your ears has already lost its novelty, then watching Jarvis’ music video might just be a good way for you to spend the next four minutes of your life.
