Ubisoft has officially confirmed that its second major expansion for Far Cry 6 will be coming to PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Stadia, and PC, on Jan. 11.

The new DLC is dubbed Pagan: Control and will give players the opportunity to step into the blood-splattered shoes of the infamous villain from Far Cry 4, Pagan Min.

Interestingly, Pagan: Control is being pitched as a “roguelite” experience, which is pretty unique for the Far Cry first-person shooter series. In the new mode, players will be transported into the mind of the titular antagonist and will have to face his greatest fears and defeat them in a new psychological horror-esque adventure.

For those unaware, Far Cry 6’s latest DLC packs focus on former villains from the franchise. The first – Vaas: Insanity – featured Vaas Montenegro, the drug-dealing looney from Far Cry 3, while the next one, coming later this year – Joseph: Collapse – will center on deranged religious zealot Joseph Seed from Far Cry 5.

Our very own Chris Jecks reviewed Far Cry 6 at launch and really enjoyed his time with the game ultimately awarding it a 4/5, saying:
