UPDATE: Limited stock of the Fallout 4: Pip-Boy Edition is now available to pre-order online, but GAME’s website appears to be struggling to keep up with demand.
“GAME.co.uk is currently closed for pre-scheduled maintenance,” a notice on the website reads. “We are working on some updates, but don’t worry we will be back up very soon!”
ORIGINAL STORY: A new batch of Fallout 4 Pip-Boy Editions will be available to pre-order at GAME today, the retailer has stressed, but they won’t be available online until “late morning”.
The retailer previously said that pre-orders would be available online from 9am this morning, but warned fans in a tweet last night that stock wouldn’t actually be ready until later in the day.
GAME says that it’s “sorry for any confusion”.
The £99.99 Pip-Boy Edition includes a physical Pip-Boy that can be connected to a smartphone and used in-game, along with a copy of the full game. A £20 deposit will be required for online pre-orders, with a £40 deposit required in store.
Fallout 4 launches on PS4, Xbox One and PC on November 10.
