Fall Guys Ultimate Knockout is officially on its way to mobiles, in China.
The news was broken by industry analyst Daniel Ahmad through Twitter, and the game has been licensed by Chinese company Bilibili in order to develop and release a mobile version in China.
At the moment, it isn’t known when the mobile port will be released. The Chinese version of the game will be titled Jelly Bean: The Ultimate Knockout, and the game is in good hands. Fate/Grand Order, Azur Lane, and Girls’ Frontline have all been published by Bilibili’s subdivisions, and met with success.
Fall Guys is exceptionally, exceptionally popular. Upon launch, it achieved 120,000 concurrent players scurrying and stumbling up and down its squishy slapstick stages. It’s a battle royale inspired by game shows like Takeshi’s Castle, It’s a Knockout and Total Wipeout, and the one who wins gets a sparkly crown. These crowns can be spent in the in-game store for costumes, such as Scout from Team Fortress 2, or P-Body from Portal 2, and the player also accumulates another currency (Kudos) for every match they participate in.
Chinese games and entertainment company Bilibili has secured the rights to publish a mobile version of Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout in China.
The game released for PC and PS4 on August 4, 2020 and has become a viral hit.#FallGuys https://t.co/BjElzemUGr pic.twitter.com/EBgYq3pck5
