If you’re going to survive the seemingly never-ending onslaught of Infected in Dying Light 2, then you’re going to need to pay attention to your stamina. Used for attacking, climbing and more, your stamina gauge can get drained pretty quickly towards the beginning of the game. In this guide, we’ll be showing you how to increase Stamina in Dying Light 2, so you can attack, climb and block for longer.
What Is Stamina Used For?
Your Stamina gauge depletes when you’re sprinting, blocking incoming attacks, climbing for extended periods of time, or using melee attacks yourself.
As such, it’s important to increase your max stamina on a regular basis. This way, you’ll be able to deal with larger hordes of the Infected or escape them if you really need to make a quick getaway.
Increasing Stamina in Dying Light 2
It’s worth pointing out that as there’s a limited amount of Inhibitors — which are used for increasing both stamina and your max health — you’ll need to carefully manage to upgrade each of these as you progress through the game in order to give yourself the best chance of survival.
- To increase Stamina in Dying Light 2, you’ll first need to collect three Inhibitors. Inhibitors are typically found in GRE Containers, which are found in GRE Facilities and also a reward for beating GRE anomalies. These are optional areas you’re free to explore/take on, though they are some of the most dangerous in the open world so be careful you don’t get yourself into trouble taking on more than you can handle. You’ll go through one of these naturally as a part of the story, too. In addition to GRE facilities, you can also find inhibitors scattered around the open world in locations such as safes. You will hear a sound prompt when one is nearby. With three Inhibitors collected, press the touchpad on PlayStation or View button on Xbox to open your menus and then select the ‘Skills’ tab. At the very bottom of the screen, you’ll see a lightning icon underneath the ‘Upgrades Available’ heading. Press and hold X/ A over the lightning icon and you’ll spend your three Inhibitors increasing your Stamina by a small amount.
