Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot is right around the corner and as fans of Dragon Ball eagerly wait for what is sure to be one of the biggest games of 2020, a recent information page from Steam has let users know what they’ll need to run the game. Thankfully, PC requirements suggest it will not take the power of a Super Saiyan God to run the action RPG due out on January 17 with hardware requirements being closer to pedestrians than otherworldly.
To run the game with minimal settings, a second gen Intel Core i5 and a GeForce GTX 750 should get the job done. AMD users will need a Phenom II X6 and Radeon 7950 and any unit can run on a Windows 7 machine with at least 4 GB of RAM, 36 GB of hard drive space and capable of running DirectX 11.
For a more enjoyable experience, gamers do not have to break the bank to modernize their PCs just to play the game. Any processor configuration is going to need a Windows 10 operating system, 8 GB of RAM, DirectX 11 compatibility and 40 GB of storage to meet recommended universal settings. Intel and Nvidia users should have an Intel Core i5-3470 and GTX 960 or better, whereas AMD users should aim for a Ryzen 3 1200 and Radeon R9 280.
Spanning the entire timeline of the legendary series, Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot puts players in control of Goku and play out the legendary battles of Dragon Ball Z from the first appearance to Vegeta all the way to the final confrontation with Majin Buu. Along with Goku, players will be able to take control of Vegeta, Gohan and Piccolo as they navigate their way through an open world experience that Dragon Ball fans are sure to enjoy.
With the game approaching its release date, there is plenty of time for fans to pre-order the title and get various bonus content ranging from in-game boosts to a season pass along with a pricy, but extremely cool diorama. Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot hits PS4, Xbox One and PC on January 17.
