A Doom demo was released last week, with the plan to give gamers a limited time to grab the sampler. However, Bethesda says that due to high demand the demo’s availability has been extended for an unspecified period.

Bethesda’s Pete Hines explained what the tweet meant by high demand: “Lots of people downloading. People saying because of E3 and other stuff they hadn’t had a chance to download yet.”
