Bungie has announced via Twitter that the Clan features in Destiny 2 will be unavailable to players for several more days. The Clan feature has received a significant overhaul and was expected to launch alongside the game, however Bungie has given no firm date on when we can expect to see it.

Naturally the responses were pretty glib on the matter, but it’s definitely coming soon. Players in Destiny 2 that join a Clan will be able to show off their unique Clan banner, and they’ll also be able to earn rewards for working as part of a team, eventually joining other players in Nightfalls and Raids as part of the Guided Games feature which is due to be added on September 26. Guided Games is a new feature that links solo players with a Clan to tackle difficult missions, and is Destiny 2’s answer to traditional matchmaking.

In-game Destiny 2 Clan Features will be unavailable for the first several days after launch. Stay tuned for announcements of availability.

Bungie had previously confirmed that Guided Games wouldn’t be ready for launch, instead  rolling out in a limited access state as a ‘soft beta’. Bungie said that, ‘30-50% of players will be given seeker access, depending on clan participation in Destiny 2 during the first week’.

Destiny 2 is out now on PS4 and Xbox One. It comes to PC on October 24.
